The dramatic proposition that is the premise, is the foundation from where to begin, and then promptly run into the brick wall of the fiction, that fiction has to make the sense that does not apply to real life :-)

She has changed our times & enriched countless lives, philanthropically as well, she is modern heroine to girls & women.
If I were to comment on the wonderful lake/shed-line of thought, I would say to everyone just getting started that when you are tossed a fat cod, by the lake, and feel tempted (as we all do) to instantly pose for the camera with it - do take the time to give the poor thing some tender love and care in the shed - just in case there's an unexpected parasite hiding inside of it. Who knows - maybe it turned out to have swallowed a lump of gold that you were never looking for in the first place. :)

Einstein opined that he'd never tell where idea came from.. for him, he felt, he should hide the source.
Ideas can come from anywhere, anytime..yet, the ideas get settled in unconscious where a creative person, at one point of time, nay..a moment would feel strong emotions but not acknowledge...and..yet, a subconscious intention is formed and at later time, the idea hits the creative being with a form..
What am I typing? It may not make sense! Say, a few months ago, I dreamt that J K Rowling got idea of a plot that is set in outer space!! Now, this seems absurd but who knows..for months, this lady Rowling maybe flirting with outer space plot or world building? LOL ..

.. there's a oft repeated quote that goes something to effect of "no one can stop an idea whose time has come"
I wonder that while humans have a time frame of linearity, the time or timing of idea to the effect is multidimensional & humans have no control of this aspect.
If an idea comes to a person (or in rare case) two humans but, both register & not acknowledge, where does idea go? Perhaps, it stays as potential & in relam of possibilities till both persons acknowledge..

i don't think so, it has to do with the process and it's different for every person but that's a overuse question
It's not a bad question. It gives you insight about how an author thinks about the creative process.
