I love listening to her voice and I wish she voiced the audiobooks. It’s soothing and somehow grounded. Well never mind. Let’s enjoy this snippet 🥲
I felt the same about the Harry Potter audiobooks.
I was just about to comment the same thing LOL!😁😂
@@DarkandTwisted Same! I literally just searched "J.K. Rowling" to find an interview or anything with her speaking at length because I've recently come to realize how soothing I find her voice and wanted to enjoy it as I'm settling in. Wonder if she's aware that she's creating ASMR content every time she's recording speaking! 😆
To be honest, I have been so addicted to the Harry Potter series that I haven't even read this series yet. However, after listening to her read it, I am going to start right away. I wish she had recorded the audiobook herself though; her voice is gold. I love this woman; she is a genius. And I am not saying this only because our writing styles are similar. She is brilliant.🥰👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
You're in for a treat. This series is one of my favorite of all time. Period.
The series is (I tremble to say it) even better than HP. And Robert Glennister narrates it brilliantly.
I refuse to accept we are reaching the final four books! I don’t want this to end!
I love the Strike series as much in my adulthood as I did Potter in my youth. These books are SO good and not enough people are talking about them.
Her best work yet 🍾 Absolutely love it ❤
Thank you!
I'm reading it right now!
Love from Japan.
The book was incredible! Robin 😭😱😭😱
Go girl!!
If only you read the audiobook too.... It would be wonderful. Thank you
I'm only on chapter 4 now, but I am so happy reading this! I just love the book series and characters so much. Hopefully we'll get a 30 minute interview like the one for "The Ink Black Heart" ^^
I'm on Chapter 9.... I am LOVING it so far. So engrossing!
waiting impatiently for the delivery of my copy
WOW! I can't wait to get my copy! Happy reading :)
Thank you JK Rowling for your books❤
So delighted with this lovely surprise! Just got the message that the audio book was already in my audible library. Thank you, Ms Rowling! The Strike series is by far my favourite detective series - and this comes from an avid Christie and Doyle reader. I just adore Strike and Robin; they’re both such engaging characters.
I'm loving it. I'm loooking forward to listening to this on audiobook.
Thanks for the sneak peak! I'll have to wait until Christmas, but at least my kids know what to get me now.
😄 🎁
Oh this is gonna be good
So happy your new book is out! ❤ I’ll read anything you write.
Thank you so much for this series! I love Strike and Robin) Thank you for your work, legend
Finished the book today and loved it! ❤ I think this is my 2nd favourite in the series (nothing beats Troubled Blood).
yeah i loved this one but troubled blood is hands down the best. the narrative spanned so many generations and ran up and down the class structure of british society... it really felt like dickens and agatha christie had got together to write a murder mystery set in early 21st century uk. phenomenal book.
Wow.. shes a genius
I could listen to Jo narrate the entire book. The book is so so great. I'm speechless.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this video.
I adore the Strike books and the series is perfectly cast.
good luck with your (not so new) venture. you look amazing as always. nice to hear your voice. please could you make a video detailing the history books you used to read before harry potter. i see alot of ancient historical names and connections in your harry potter franchise with the history and theology books i have been reading over the last few years.
Thanks👏🏼Love the series❤️
I lost touch after reading the first two (had a kid, got lost in work), recently discovered there are 7!!!! Read all 5 in 10 days. It was like the best time of my life after Harry Potter!!!!!!!!
Am listening to the audio recording now. Fan of the series and the narrator as well.
I wish she read out the last few pages of thr book 😉
How lovely ❤
Finished the book yesterday. For me it’s the best in the series. First of all because the theme - cult description was so realistic! And the crime plot itself brilliant as usual, I couldn’t guess till the very last moment
I am loving this book! ❤❤❤
Electrifying... this book is the best of all in the series so far
Interview when?
A wailing baby.... it is hilarious!!!!
Just finished it. The best Strike book so far.
Amazing!
Now I'm going to mix up Strike with Stalker Shrike from the Mortal Engines Quartet. Also a bird name. What were the Americans thinking with "Grike" and "Hungry Cities"? They did that to "Philosopher's Stone" too.
'Couldn't grab me a glass of water could you?' Now part of me is saying: 'There's no way Robert Galbraith just referenced Hannibal Lecter in the middle of a comedy segment.' And another part is saying: 'It's the sort of thing she does.'
Somehow, I have always imagined Stike as a dialed down version of Hagrid as far as his appearance is concerned.
I just finished this again today. I wonder if JK has heard the Leonard Cohen song I’m Your Man??
I think it’s really now the song for Strike!! You’re welcome 😂
just finished it yesterday! book 5 is still my favourite but 7 is up there as one of the best... maybe 2nd or 3rd best, in close competition with 4.
No interviews this time? 😭
Reading Rabbit Gayle Breath, this lady, Jay Kay Rooooling seems like, shez preparing her 1st high school speech where the girl who was supposed to speak got high fever...lol...good day folks
Nice read don’t get me wrong…but Robert Glenister’s was simply superb!
strike lost 3 stone that is a stone is16 pounds do the math he lost 48 pounds but still needs 5 more so he will stop blowing out his knee but has robins love now with ryan murrphy
Did she change her name or something cause the tittle is throwing me off
Caitlyn Jenner President 2024
A strange thought she has been accused of anti tans rites and so called promotes womens rites we all know who writes these books so why does she publish under a mans name ? It makes no sense .
I suppose it's because she began writing them under that pseudonym. 🤷🏼♀️
@@flugsven Not a very secret one then
@@thegremlin3194 Haha, no. She wanted to see how she would be reviewed without her name. She got some rather good reviews before it of course came out who Robert Galbraith really was. I think she enjoyed that recognition as a promising new crime novellist coming out of nowhere. Robert was a name she just happened to like, and Galbraith was an hommage to Iain Galbraith, a scotish poet, if I'm not misstaken.
Yawn 🥱
Haters gonna hate!
@@lofiguy9300 Haters? Not really.
JK obsessives (i.e. monsters) - we heard about you. You will praise her even if she's shitting on you. Sad celebrity culture...

insufferable know-it-all
😂
You typed and posted that.
