Are you using your vocal chords at all when you quack, or are you just blowing air into the call?

Ok thanks. I've been practicing with a DR85 and a quack seems to sound better with a hum behind it(sounds like a kazoo with just air but that might be my inexperience) but the cadence of a greeting call doesn't sound quite right. Any suggestions? More practice?

No.. Don't use your vocal chords. Use pure air.
