One of the greatest counter-punchers and Mexican fighters in boxing history! Juan Manuel Marquez had an incredible career spanning 2 decades and his legendary knockout of Manny Pacquiao will be talked about forever. Dinamita! 🇲🇽 patreon.com/haNZAgod
Great video and Fantastic fighter. Marquez was actually the one who introduced me to boxing with his fights with Diaz, Katsidis and the third bout with Pacquiao.
The more you knock him down the more dangerous he becomes, while most talked about his counter punching, I thought his "second wind" ability is unlike any other fighters I've seen
ATG counter puncher who wasn’t afraid of getting hit himself if it meant putting some hurt on the other. An aggressive counter puncher who always made some exciting brawls and great tactical fights. The man was the embodiment of the sweet science. Great boxing skills to go along with a heart and tenacity of a Mexican warrior.
@@farmanshekh6696 I never said he wasn't. I'm responding to what he said. "An aggressive counter puncher who always made some exciting brawls and great tactical fights. Loved the way he threw multiple uppercuts, sometimes even from the outside. Marquez gave us so many entertaining fights. He was also smart enough to know when to retire.
One of my favourite fighters. Loved his unbreakable focus in the ring. For the full 12 rounds you could see his mind working and focused like a hawk on his opponent. Even when marquez would get knocked down he wouldn't look around the ring or at the ref his eyes would be fixed on his opponent
An underrated master of distance control. Many of his counterpunches came from a perfectly timed step-back to get his opponent to overreach. Great fighter to learn from. My favourite combo and counterpuncher in the history of boxing.
Marquez was such a masterful counterpuncher. He just had great timing and this knack for finding the perfect opening. One of my favorite guys to watch. Skillful but exciting and a dog………Dinamita.

Great counter puncher. He use to have quick feet in the smaller weight classes before he got old and moved up and his guard was high. Great combination puncher as well
That's why I like and respect mexican boxing style even though I am a filipino blooded. Canelo Alvarez, Juan Manuel Marquez and Isaac Cruz are my favorites.
F’ing great work man! I always tell my boxers if you want to learn to counter watch this guy. Amazing punch variety and great positioning and footwork.

I always get angry about Bradley's robbery win against Pacquiao. Not just because of the robbery against Pacquiao, but because Marquez was robbed too. If Pacquiao rightfully retained his belt, Marquez would have become the first and only Mexican to win titles in 5 divisions, and he would have done it in spectacular fashion against the #1 P4P rated boxer at the time.
