Konami should just errata Baronne and Borreload to not be generic. New support for the de fleur archetype would be nice so Baronne is played in the deck where she actually belongs to.
I've heard many friends and other people being kinda annoyed with this banlist, because it doesn't change this format. And while it's true it doesn't make Snake-Eyes or Fire King Snake-Eyes less powerful or consistent… I feel this is just an almost perfect banlist (I don't like Protos coming back XD). It really feels like Konami and the game wants to step aside from generic boss monster and card design for the archetypes to shine on their own, changing how the game might go on in the future. So let's see what they do from now on. The only thing I miss is Harpie's Feather Storm being in this banlist. That card feels so sacky when it appears in a Floowandereeze deck… u.u
I promise these are the changes that were really needed. Having generic ED monsters was the real frustrating factor that became what the game would've become... stale. And having these omni negates with ease, you ALWAYS had to have something like Baronne (mostly) and Savage Dragon at the back of your mind. With them gone now, players need to actually think how they should form a board instead of sitting on an boss monster that you have a hard time getting over or trying to bait in order to play. I do believe Apo is a card that should still get banned, but looking on the bright side Talents is a card that will punish players for opting to go for those kinds of boards now. Though keep in mind, TCG still has Crossout at 3, so it's to be one heck of a battle on how this may operate. Either way, I think this is for the better to really see how SE can perform without the oppressive boards we've seen along the majority of decks that also end off with.
Nibiru and Evenly will go BRRRR now that Baronne is out of the picture. 😂
My thoughts, Evenly is so great xD

Baronne errata to needing one Fleur monster and Borrel needing 1 dark dragon would be cool.
Yes, with an errata they could unban them again!

Yes a few more fire hits would definitely be nice!
imo wanted is old enough and not very expensive compared to the others, it could have went to 1

I agree, it's getting boring if multiple decks just end on the same few cards every game :S
Colossus is the card that made me play this game, I saw it in a video and thought it was the coolest card ever, i'm excited to see what it will do.
It usually does evil stuff haha
good discussion
I just wanna K-I-S-S the one doing these Banlists in the TCG
We need more drastic changes like this in MD!
Apo shouldve been the first generic ED negate that shouldve left tho. Also very sus that they unhit protos and colosus
apo gets a reprint in RC02 so she wont go anytime soon
Apo not being protected by Baronne/Linkuriboh anymore will make it easier to just beat over her
Finally we are free from the omni negates (mostly, not really)
A step in the right direction ~
They could of done way better this ban list was a crap fest and my link 1 boy did nothing wrong B(
Linkuriboh getting caught in the fire is unfortunate, but it's nice to see generic ED cards being gone~
Let's Go! 😬👌
Let's gooo
Do you play the TCG?
