Accessibility is the main idea. Once its in the cloud it can be used for analytics to improve product quality, assembly line efficiency and maintenance monitoring

your explained absolutely very well.. but i can't see how data is pulling from sensor to cloud ... sorry this technology is already using many industries except edge people are using PLCs and SCADA.

Im not sure of exact supply chains, but I have seen that exact level probe from IFM its a LW2720, or LW2120. The IO-Link master block on the left side of the cabinet looks to have the same exact profile to that IFM sells. Funny to see how brands will buy things/ have things manufactured by other companies and have them branded with their logo and pretend to then end user like it's their wheel they invented.

Where is the cloud? How they pull the data to cloud😀.This is the traditional method I think.where is iiot?..if they could incorporated with a mobile device to read real time data, it would have been much better in term of future Automation.
Sorry to say that I couldn’t find any futuristic technology..correct me if i am wrong.
