Great video. Totally agree that Damsgaard has been an absolute revelation this year and gives so much to the team. What often doesn't get mentioned is his work rate and pressing which is absolutely relentless and regularly allows us to win the ball higher up the pitch. Thomas is clearly hoping for 1) either Thiago or Schade to make real claim for a position on the team as otherwise we suffer from not having an outball for Flekken or the back four if pressed high and 2) the quick return of Rico. Not just his pace up and down but a real left footed overlap, crossing capability has been a real miss since he has been injured. Bring on the Toffees!
Mike, we're 11th in the table, scoring goals in bunches, playing attacking football, Yoane, Brian and Mikkel are all having their best seasons yet, and you're not having fun. Some might say come on, laddie, relax a little bit, but I like your optimism and high expectations. We certainly have what it takes to move up the table assuming no one leaves in the next window. Come on you Bees!
A lot of good analysis here, not sure I share the overall opinion that it's a difficult watch this year as an invested fan. Yes their is less game management and it's a real roller coaster but as you acknowledge we're playing a more possession based, attacking style and that's the price we pay. I've no issue winning games 5-3, 4-3, 3-2 but the flip side is you have to accept the frustration of games like the Fulham away on occasion. Great job overall, I'm now a subscriber.
I do agree with a lot you are talking about and in my opinion it feels like This is just the beginning and we will definitely get better with this new system, like the Fulham game was like we were playing city so I do think we are building something just takes time and bring in the right players but yeah My heart this season though lol 🐝
Brilliant to have some in depth Bees content, here and on the pod. Thanks Mike.

Maybe fun was the wrong word but it’s not good for my health 🤣😅
I get it. Thanks for the quality content as usual.

@@marcbyrne4760 I’m not sure I can take another United (23/24) / Fulham-esque loss 😭
