    Nice to see the men and women training side-by-side and building team comradery. Good job, Team Egypt!

    He looks so smooth and balanced when hes lifting I was really expecting him to be more athletic than this haha. Just shows pretty much everything requires practice to get good at.

    What I love about this video is that it shows weightlifters as total athletes - from their dynamic warmups, to agility work, we often are misinformed thinking these athletes just lift heavy things! I can see how agility and quickness drills will carry over into proprioceptive skills on the platform.

    Damn, Ehab's legs are looking HUGE!
    Big ups to Greg for this series.
    This is one of the most in-depth and most comprehensive sets of weightlifting training videos I've ever seen.

    Very interesting to see this type of training used. Is this used during off season? And was this coupled with a weightlifting session later in the day or did they only do this?

    • @basharen1444
      @basharen1444 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I think it's used for training explosiveness. They probably do it ones in 1-4 weeks. ( my guess ).

    • @AM-cg3nt
      @AM-cg3nt 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nate Paul probably during the off-season maybe after a big competition, (worlds/Olympics) and then the second session is probably light and technique focused. That’s my guess

    It's the first time it seems like the head trainer is having a tough time motivating the athletes to actually do the drills.

    Who says weightlifting isn’t a team sport? Atleast at the Olympic level you see the athletes training together and supporting each other in this manner no matter the country.
