    Great Thanks Father.
Very perfect..and interestingly enough it is exactly what i was meditating on early this evening: that it is not the asceticism that is the work or goal but who we are ;who we become..are we Truly able to love our neighabor. Do we become Church and attain to actual communion with each other? Or do we become the dry hard clay that fills a space and has a title but is unable to embrace another in the warmth of our heart, mind and words. Do we become a Song.
    Just my little thoughts.

Like a sword is tempered and kept sharpened so that it may act out its true purpose.

I’ve heard “Christ is in our midst” but
Haven’t heard “Christ is baptized “
    at the end
    Reasonings?

I think it was probably the feast day of The Baptism of Christ

The Feast of Theophany is the commemoration of Christ’s Baptism.
In a similar way at the Feast of Nativity we say “Christ is born! Glorify Him! and at Pascha we say “Christ is risen! Indeed He is risen!” The rest of the time we say “Christ is in our midst! He is and ever shall be!”
