Best Light Saber battle i've ever seen in any Star Wars. I hope Chris Lundy can get picked up for a Starwars film because the Kylo vs Rey battle was ASSSSssss.
Best thing I've seen in awhile 👍👍👍 some critique though at 4:07 and 4:21: I understand that he could still have to force, but how did his sword get from out of his hand then right back into his hand like nothing happened?
As Fan-Fic Writer I'm going to make some lore for this scene. Havoc is a Forestal Planet on the Outer Rim, somewhere on that world, there is an ancient Jedi Temple that was corrupted by the Sith, and the Jedi that use to live there were converted in Force-sensitive savages. During the time of the Old Republic, other Jedi were send there to purge the planet from those savages.
No idea what you were watching but that choreography was terrible and they've downplayed the lightsabre to the point where it really does just look like a long glowstick Just once I wish we could have some actual swordsman make one of these
It's always refreshing when it is a 3 on 1 fight when they are nice enough to only attack one at a time, pause to let someone else attack, stand around when their opponent is down, and take time to disrobe and pose heroically/menacingly...but I will admit, that "Reverse Arya" toss was a GREAT move! :) Also just goes to show you that just cause you take a saber tot he abdomen doesn't mean you 100% get killed (Qui-gon was apparently a wuss then if that's the case)
@@HarmonicWave It's honestly hard to tell. I literally went back and watched "the kill shot" almost 20 times and have to say, from some angles...it DOES look like a heart shot, but others look more in line with mid to lower abdomen. Regardless...Qui-gon is now Stay-gone. :)
The fights keep getting better and better! And I love the implied story we get to create simply based on character interaction! I’m really glad you guys are continuing to make these
It’s been established in another thread, and accepted by the make of this video, that these are Sith corrupted Force sensitive savages. The Jedi are there to purge this Jedi planet of the screaming Force sensitive savages (Lol).
Honestly think this is one of the best things I've seen really awesome, especially being a fan of star wars As well loved the fast paced of fight and barbaric feel to it. Choreograph was soo good and so was the camera movement and how you captured it. Favourite thing I've seen in ages
Award winning...Yes well deserved! I could pic up on some of the choreography as to where I've seen it before, example at 3:17 reminded me of the mansion scene from Matrix Reloaded with Neo fighting the guys with swords! I am blown away buy how amazing the choreography was done! Outstanding!!
I have never been more proud...savagery with less flexing, clean cut, flawless execution keeping it feeling real, and full of form & color. It's art...Impressive, most impressive.🔥🔥🔥🔥🤌👍
So what do we have here? 1) A MORDHAU-like 3v1 for most of the time. 2) A Dark Jedi with a green lightsaber (probably, Jensaarai, if anybody remembers the real Canon). 3) Also, Dark Jedi that don't give a sith about getting stabbed. The Dark Jedi Grandmaster even says something like "Yo, have a break", when he is practically left alone against a Jedi. 4) Also, that hug attempt after the first successful thrust...or so it looked. Anyway, it was rather cute. 5) Two angels with lightsabers appearing out of nowhere at the end. Honestly, I was very skeptical at the beginning. But it looked so ridiculous I actually warmed up very quickly.
What a masterpiece! Constantly changing grips, multiple and single lightsabers, 1v3 should have egg on the face but everyone looked busy and looked like they were trying to kill you (I'm looking at you TLJ Throne Room) and all synced up to a killer soundtrack!
Thank you Jeff! I made a big point with the actors to make sure everyone knew how important the moments are in between the choreography. It's like remembering to act when you're in a dialogue scene but you're not being spoken to. You still have to perform and react to the situation! So that means a lot that you took notice!!
@@MichaelYadvish Excellent job. I purposely looked for that in the fight sequence and to my admittedly untrained eye you succeeded. The actors also did an excellent job conveying the real threat and emotion during the scene. Overall, just a really enjoyable sequence that made me actually care whether or not any of them lived or died.
@@MichaelYadvish sorry but this wasn’t good synchronized wild arm flailing is not good choreography. This was no better than the the throne room scene in TLJ.

I’m not saying the choreography isn’t better than just about any dual out there (I’d put dual of fates, and the Ahsoka maul fight on par with this, and yes the Ahsoka maul fight was done almost entirely through mocap so it is choreographed, and edited in post just like any live action dual) All in all another amazing production and they just keep getting better, just wanted to note that it is distinctly different to make a 5 minute film with actors who are already experienced in this thing than it is to make a 2.5 hour movie using a budget larger than a small countries gdp, it’s like to entirely different worlds
