Family Hike Les Contamines - Notre Dame de la Gorge Loop

This is a wonderful family friendly walk near the Notre Dame de la Gorge a little south from Les Contamines-Montjoie and roughly a 45 minute drive from Chamonix. It visits the Notre Dame de la Gorge chapel and the nearby Sainte Chapel which is a tiny little chapel built against the cliff face. From there we take the trail to Nant Borrant passing by the Pont Romain with the beautiful little river and deep gorge below it. We visit the Refuge de Nant Borrant and then loop back via de Combe Noir waterfall and La Sololieu.
