    This is a step-by-step tutorial on how to create and generate a 10K NFT collection using just Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
    ------------------------------------
    0:00 Intro
    0:43 Draw the First Piece
    1:29 Distribute to Layers
    02:14 Duplicating Artboards
    02:24 How many traits and layers do you need?
    04:36 The Different Artboards we end up within Adobe Illustrator
    04:51 Export traits and layers
    06:03 Import to Photoshop
    07:28 Add Rarities
    08:13 Download Auto-Generate Script
    09:07 Run the script
    09:47 Watch the collection being generated
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    Many of the successful NFT projects feature collections of 1K, 5K,10K, and sometimes even larger in size. Creating a collection of such size might seem like a giant mission but it can be actually accomplished relatively quickly if panned and executed correctly.
    In this video, I will show you how you can quickly create a 10K NFT collection using just Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
    After creating the artwork for the different base layers and traits.
    We will be running a script created by Daniel from Hashlips NFT
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    This is the Hashlips Nft Channel: (they have tons of useful scripts there)
    / hashlipsnft
    And this is a link to the auto-generation script:
    github.com/HashLips/hashlips_...
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    You will not need to write any code.
    Running a script in Photoshop is a matter of 3 mouse clicks.

      how did you manage to export from illustrator to photoshop and not have the png appear picelated on photoshop? I'm struggling...

    • @Mr.Sn0wflake

      i did all your steps... I guess correctly.. but my export to screens returns very pixelated pngs.. even before photoshop! even if I export for web.. and get a sharp loooking png file.. when i open it in photoshop it gets pixelated

      @@Mr.Sn0wflake Hi Rui. It depends on the artboard size you are using I guess. And the size of the artboard +dpi in photoshop. Mine was 1000*1000 px artboard in .ai then the same artboards size 72 dpi. everything should remain in good quality if you keep the size of the artboards the same in both programs

      @Radik Sherkesh Hi, not sure I understood what is not clear... each element that has variations will be on its own layer with sublayers as the variations. The video comes with a tutorial post (link in the description) that explains everything in detail. Hope it helps. Really tried to make it as clear as I can.

    Very helpful, like a few other of the commenters I got a little lost when it came to the rarity but after rewatching and doing a little extra research it all makes perfect sense!

      Thank You! It is so great to know the video is useful! I am glad that the rarity thing is making sense. I realize now that I didn't explain rarities in enough detail in the video. It is explained better in the post attached to this video though: www.animationguides.com/how-to-create-10k-nft-collection/

    Thanks for putting together such a great tutorial! I've followed it through to the point of moving the artboards to Ps and I'm stuck. How do you put the artboards in the folders in Ps? I tried the drag and drop but Ps opened them in separate tabs instead of putting them in the individual groups. I must have missed something but couldn't figure out what I missed. Thanks much!

    • @AnimationGuides
      @AnimationGuides  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lemy Hi, Thank you for the positive feedback. It is great to know that the tutorial is helpful. To insert the exported artboards into an existing document you need to drag them to the stage ( if you drag to the layers panel it opens them all in separated tabs). If you press alt during the drag the files will be imported as linked documents. These way, if you decide to change them later on the psd will update the art.

    Great Video, the only part Im a bit confused on is the hashtag rarity. Like if you put #5 on a trait does that mean there will only be 5 of those traits?

    • @AnimationGuides
      @AnimationGuides  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I am really happy to know the video is helpful . I believe that the rarity should be relative to the overall hashtags sum you put in for each trait.

    • @thegfxmech5475
      @thegfxmech5475 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Through some trial and error and viewing some of Hashlip's other videos I saw that the easiest way is to treat the hashtags as percentages. E.g. I want a funky nose to appear 5% of the time, a dumb looking nose 25% of the time and no nose for the rest. I'd name my nose layers "funky nose #5, dumb nose #25, no nose #70".

    • @AnimationKatusha
      @AnimationKatusha ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@thegfxmech5475 Exactly, like percentages! Thank you for the detailed example.

      Thank You :) , There is no currently any course attached to this, there is a blog post discussing this process in detail: www.animationguides.com/how-to-create-10k-nft-collection/ and also a post that describes the process of making a collection using after effects: www.animationguides.com/animated-nft-collections-after-effects/

    I created my layers through pixilart and I am having difficulties when exporting to photoshop. Is this necessary or can I skip this and go directly to the script?

    • @AnimationGuides
      @AnimationGuides  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, the script is for photoshop. So you need to have your project set up in photoshop to run it.

    how much time it takes to creat 10k nft collection ?

    • @AnimationGuides
      @AnimationGuides  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It really depends on the complexity and art style of the collection you want to create. The more different trades the collection will have the more time it will take to create the art for it. Some art style are faster to create than others. Once all the artwork is created it can only take minutes/hours to structure the pieces and run the generation script. The the computer will work on its own and create the individual pieces. The time it will take to generate 10k pieces for the computer , really depends on its hardware. But it does take time most likely several hours.

    • @AnimationGuides
      @AnimationGuides  ปีที่แล้ว

      The script is created by @hashlipsNFT. When I tested it there were no errors. Make sure you follow the structure instructions. PErhaps you are running it not in the way it was intended....
