As a storm fan I loved and hated the we featured in so many of these haha I was there in person for Witt and Batemans tries and they were both gutting occasions The Inglis game I stayed up till 4:30am without knowing the scores (We didn’t get live NRL into Melbourne on 9 at the time) and cried when he landed that try, after we won the 1999 Grand Final my parents drove 8 year old me to the airport to see the team come back and Marcus Bai put me up on his shoulders a moment I’ll never forget ⚫️🟣
Never seen Newcastle so excited as in 97. No one thought they could do it, and they finally stepped out of the shadows and showed the footy world they'd arrived. In a tough place right now, but the Mighty Knights will be back one day!!

Craig Smiths one shouldn't be there because he didn't score a try, he knocked it on. if he scored the try then there would have been 2 conversion attempts. (8 point try). Awsome video though)
Because people weren't frowned upon for being passionate sporting fans back then. Nowadays there's too many boring people that don't follow sports who feel the need to tell us that we're stupid for being passionate about our sporting teams
You can't just 'put aside the controversy' of the 2019 GF. While both trainer and 6 again calls were following the letter of the law, both were bad the way they ended up looking and then effecting the final result.
And you cant just put aside the prelims. Vunivalu was not out, everyone can see that. Plus Cronk being sent out (unfairly) and Raiders couldn't put points on when they are a man up? But blame the ball hitting the trainers head all you want. That one moment in the first 10 mins, cancels out everything else for the remaining 70.
