फिल्म कंपैनियन एक वेब चैनल है जिसका उद्देश्य फिल्मों की समीक्षा, साक्षात्कारों, फ़िल्मी चर्चाओं, वीडियो रचनाओं और विश्लेषणात्मक संग्रह के माध्यम से भारतीय सिनेमा को बढ़ावा देना है। इसका सबसे पहला उद्देश्य है जानकारी देने वाली चर्चाओं को बढ़ावा देना, आलोचना और सिनेमा की समीक्षा को प्रोत्साहित करना और इसी नज़रिए के तहत हम अपने कार्यक्रमों में सिनेमाघरों में प्रदर्शित की जाने वाली फिल्मों के छोटे-छोटे हिस्से, साउंड रिकॉर्डिंग और फोटोग्राफी से सम्बंधित कामों का इस्तेमाल करते हैं। फिल्मों की इन क्लिप्स और हिस्सों को बहुत कम इस्तेमाल किया जाता है और किसी भी तरह से इनका प्रयोग कॉपीराइट धारकों के व्यावसायिक काम में दखलंदाज़ी करने या उन्हें परेशान करने के लिए
नहीं किया जाता है। कॉपीराइट अधिनियम की धारा 52 के तहत दिए गए निष्पक्ष बर्ताव के अनुपालन के अनुसार हम इस काम का इस्तेमाल करते हैं और हम आलोचना और समीक्षा के लिए दी गयी छूट के तहत अपना काम करते हैं।
फिल्म कंपैनियन मनोरंजन पत्रकारिता के लिए एक मंच है। हमारा मुख्य फोकस फिल्म है - बॉलीवुड, हॉलीवुड, विश्व सिनेमा, तमिल, तेलुगु, मलयालम, कन्नड़ और मराठी। हम समीक्षा, साक्षात्कार, फीचर और किसी भी काम को सिनेमा को ध्यान में रखकर बढ़ावा देते हैं। हम टेलीविज़न, लघु फिल्मों, वेब सीरीज़, स्टैंडअप कॉमेडी, ओटीटी प्लेटफार्म से जुड़ी सामग्री, सिनेमा से सम्बंधित किताबों और कभी-कभी गैर- फिल्मी संगीत पर भी काम करते हैं।
