Brand of sacrifice , you guys are one of the couple bands that have gotten me into deathcore. I litteraly hated deathcore, after years and years of not liking deathcore , I FINALLY got into it because of about 3 bands and you are one of them. Thank you for finally opening that door. If curious then other bands are Shadow of intent and Darko us, .. which led me to Chelsea grin. So now I'm a fan of about 8 deathcore bands maybe little more
@K R that’s ironic considering how dark that album was lol. I agree tho, I did enjoy a trip to California august of 2018 and I was blasting Unify which always made me smile
I feel that struggle. It’s been Snowblood, Divisionary, Vanish Canvas, Shadow Autonomous, Lunar Halo, and Remnant. It’s a real problem that it’s this hard to find our favorite
This song is absolutely jawdropping, I can't tell how many times I've replayed it. Shit I don't even like metalcore that much but this is some powerful stuff you could motivate millions with this much SOUL!
2 years in - don't care, still is unbelievably amazing! There is just something about the production of the guitar on this album that I can't get over, it is so good. And the way this song starts off with the guitar and the tapping - WTF!!! I have heard this song a thousand times but it still hits like it is brand new
I genuinely don't understand why these guys are so underrated they're music brings so many different elements together in a perfect and beautiful fusion how can anyone dislike these guys they're just on another level to everyone else!!!
Ive listened to this album many times and it’s all immaculate. Listened to it again recently on a trip and this song legit brought me to tears and I’m not sure why. It’s so damn beautiful
I hate to be that guy but check out Entities n Substructure there's a few others too can't remember but they made good space djent/metal too awhile ago before this flawless gem
After hearing this song for the first time yesterday, I woke up today and listened to this for the second time and felt like I was DESTINED to have an epic day.
This definitely wasn't my favorite song on my first listen through the album, but it has climbed up there really quick. So far, it's been in my head whenever I'm not listening to the album.
Augment doesn't have shit on this I don't see why everyone digs augment so.nuch in my opinion it is mediocre at best. This is by far their best work along with drift album right behind this
Fantastic album overall! Very recently discovered Erra and damn. But the guitar work, both rhythm and lead are out of this world. So fresh, so dreamy yet so heavy. Hats off 🤘
when i was new to erra, people were always like "dude dude dudududude you really need to listen to the older stuff" and it got annoying... but they're so right. if you haven't already, check out the whole of the augment and drift albums. there are plenty of masterpieces in there.
this song makes me feel like i'm hurtling through space and ping-ponging off of asteroids as i fly past the alien moons of some extra-terrestrial planet and i am HERE for that vibe \m/
Between this, Brand of sacrifice, Beartooth, and Northlane all dropping new shit in like a 48 hour span, this might be the best week for Metalcore ever.
Our grip may slip, And we may drift apart, But I know that if I screamed loud enough, You would feel a ripple Shit puts a tear in my eye every time with that fucking riff behind it. You guys are pure inspiration
This whole album, especially with the breakdowns mostly structured at around 1:20-1:30 seconds into the songs is so reminescent of Augment and I love it so much.
if my only problem in life was "pick your favorite ERRA song" id be a happy man. also that problem would only get bigger because erra keeps dropping BANGER after BANGER
You literally can’t beat these choruses
Love you guys
The fact you showed your love for these guys, gives me even more respect for y'all. 🤘
U guys rock!!
@@HarptoHeart69 facts! A welcome surprise seeing them here

It's almost stupid how ridiculously good this album is...
It’s just not fair
This album was actually my introduction to ERRA and I had to just their back catalogue and they do not disappoint!!
@@Steve6M yeah this album was how I found them and it’s some of the best stuff I’ve heard
I'm convinced Jesse is a god walking amongst men. One of the most talented and underrated musicians today.
Dude he really is. Pretty cool dude to meet too
amogus
@@coolbot01 Lol did you hear him sing “imposter” in the closing track?
Dude you're so right. Absolutely stunning musician he is!
He's definitely not "underrated". Everyone praises him
They had no business writing music this close to perfection.
This is a sentiment I share for every song I've heard so far on this album.
It's been a WHILE since a full album release was this killer, no filler. Love it so much!
They're one of the only bands who had business writing music this close to perfection.
They may be the only band to pull it off ...
ERRA has a way of reminding you how magical life can be
Thanks for writing this sentence :)
@K R that’s ironic considering how dark that album was lol. I agree tho, I did enjoy a trip to California august of 2018 and I was blasting Unify which always made me smile
Or how good music can really be
The intro riff at 0:30 was that reminder
Come listen again, friend
My favorite song off the album. That's like saying it's a 20/10 song in a album full of 10/10 songs.
So much truth. 🔥
Preach
I'll have to agree 50%...the other 50% being Vanish Canvas that it seamlessly fades into. 🤩
@@DanielTrombley31 oh yeahhhh
Can we please talk about how amazing these lyrics are?
4:44 "CAN YOU FEEL IT"
I feel everything, JT
lmao true
I literally had a laugh for this same reason while I was listening yesterday
444 is my celestial number brother
Every song on the album is solo quality this is AOTY it cannot be topped.
I swear they're my favorite band, every since I discovered them it's been nothing but banger after banger
They did it. They really did it. This is some fucking extraterrestrial space metal type shit. Just stunning.
It's like the themes from Impulse and Andromeda showed up to help.
this!
Erra are full on prog metalcore, love this album
Perfect description! *chefs kiss*
Sounds like if the song Drift had a sequel. Love their spacier metalcore, like this and dementia.
My favorite track has now changed more times than I can count. Goddamn, what an album

4:35 onwards hits me REALLY hard. I dont have words to describe it.
Is anyone gonna talk about how 3:15-3:30 is one of the best transitions ive ever heard? Until we get to 3:56
Came here looking for this comment. Unreal..
Agreed, my jaw dropped on the first listen
I got literal chills bruh! 🥶🥶🥶
You know, you can always count on a solid ass song from ERRA when ghosts are involved.
Haha! That's for sure!
Eidolon literally means ghost so you'd be right about that song too
I genuinely don't understand why these guys are so underrated they're music brings so many different elements together in a perfect and beautiful fusion how can anyone dislike these guys they're just on another level to everyone else!!!
their production is always so fire
The lyrics are unreal just another level
What a perfect combo, full-force djenty goodness and cool, melodic choruses that aren't cheesy like on older records.
Lol I guess the tide didn’t blow your mind
@@heyyitsRJ The lyrics were about tripping on LSD, thats cool to me lol
Exoskeleton of Heaven? Lyrics are a little ridiculous actually on this track. But that's ERRA and djent.
@@x0scimy0x where'd you hear that? That's sweet if true!

All the titles for these songs are actually cool af
That’s something I’ve always loved about Erra. Pretty much all their song and album names invoke very vivid imagery.
best song on the album
lol i don't know how anyone can choose a favorite with how good this album is.
Every song is literally too good to choose a favorite
I'll tell you my favorite song on first listen was Gungrave though, blew my mind.

That's my favourite solo since Dementia. That was Augment worthy ...
Bravo Jesse. Bravo.

They played that song on the neon alien tour, It was better than studio and i was just mind blown that they played such a long song.

yeppp so much
UNFD did such a great job producing this album. Definitely brought the best out of an already PERFECT band!!
sounds way better than sumerian
The grower on the album for me. A real journey and every time this song comes on I have to stop doing and just listen.
Can we at least talk about how amazing these lyrics are?
I've never heard a song this good to date, and it takes some balls to say that.
Space metal.. they literally created a genre. 🙌

The contortionist. Not knocking Erra’s new album because it’s absolutely unbelievable. Just wanted to give you another spacey metal band to listen to.
Idk if it's just me but the latest "Kingdom of Giants" album gave me these kind of vibes too
Uhh, Vektor? Nocturnus? Voivod. C'mon, get out a little bit.

Literally all songs in here are GOOD not a single bad or decent song in this album
Dude... "Drift" Erra vibes and im loving it.
I got such heavy Drift vibes from this song!
Crazy they havnt had a Grammy nomination, best in the game
When Jesse sings the part with « close you eyes » it gives me a vibe from 30 seconds to mars, am i the only one ?
Sounded exactly like kings and queens glad someone else caught it too lol
Yup 100%
30 Seconds To Mars has NO BUSINESS whatsoever being in the same sentence as ERRA.
