You have to move up a bit to get all of Mantis 2,1,4 after 4,3 to connect usually. I have no idea what devs were thinking making mantis 4,3 one of her main combo filers. It looks so awkward and clunky as well as the slow recovery you mentioned. Mantis d1,4 should have remained like it was in T7. She still kicks you upwards so could still be a tornado. It feels like such a dead move now.
Mantis 2,1,4 never connects after mantis 4,3 tailspin for me. I wish her mantis d1, 4 was tailspin again, as her 4,3 recovers so slowly
