It’s just my opinion but I liked kingdom a lot and all Ateez performances in it. I know they didn’t win but seriously we shouldn’t worry about that. The boys got over it a long time ago. I think it was great learning experience for them, the collaborations, the ideas they and others performed were great. As an atiny if we take away the ranking part of the show it was a really good show.

@@leeseoho7537 I don’t necessarily think so since the song is about humble and kindness, nobility and self honor, so I think it’s more like all of Ateez are trying to read/test/judge Mingi as he’s new and not in any clubs, disregarding them and setting him apart from what seems like the whole school, (also they all seem to have an underlying supernatural powers or smth..?). This kinda thing is seen a lot in movies and anime so that’s my interpretation 😂

I appreciate KQ for giving yeosang a lot of screen time even though he just have barely lines, my yeosang with his bread is iconic.
as seen in the diary film, Yeosang was born into a rich family that didn’t appreciate his dream of being an idol. this MV sort of shows that journey. he’s watching the rest of ateez dance. the scene where the doves fly up symbolises that he’s finally free. at the end yeosang walks in and everyone stares at this rich man as he walks in but he surprisingly joins them and starts dancing :D.
The amount of time you needed to realize jongho did his special talent at the end was PRICELESS ♡

We first heard the tune at the end of Fireworks. Not being able to breathe is a MOOD! There’s so much going on in this MV. It’s such a party!! And when ATEEZ invite you to a party you don’t decline! I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to get an MV behind before! This album is so good! It’s my favorite from Fever era for sure! Waiting for this reaction was worth it. Can’t wait for the album reaction too!
For lore, there’s nothing definitive until we get our diary book from the album but Mingi worked with Seonghwa to presumably betray Yeosang leading to Yeosang getting captured and presumably being placed in the box in SMN. Deja Vu showed us that Halateez and ATEEZ can switch consciousnesses. So my bet is that it’s actually Halateez Yeosang we’re seeing here and that’s why he oversees/doesn’t interact with the other guys much. Seonghwa, Mingi, Wooyoung, and Jongho are directly intertwined with each other hence their connection in the construction yard. The Cromer is broken so that could’ve enabled the powers we see in the MV. What’s may be more likely is during in scene where the Cromer broke in Deja Vu Yeosang hit his head and therefore everything after it is a dream of sorts. That would explain why he’s mostly observing but sometimes participates, the odd scenes he has, him being surrounded by the doves (I.e. his freedom). All this to say there’s a lot happening but I don’t think anyone is really sure what’s happening because once you think you’re sure of something something changes. It’s hella fun to try and sort it out though!
Edit/Update: Seonghwa said Yeosang is the peace symbol in the MV. Take that for what you will.

This is my theory/interpretation: after yeo broke the cromer ,they were all sent to another dimension except him ,But. They arrived separately , from the dairy album book we know that they thought yeo died,until one day his drone went to them flying alone they understood that he must be alive, in turbulence instead of the drone we see the paper airplane, in the end of the mv since they are not in there original dimension or for some other reason, they got super powers just like How woo was able to fly, then in the Real I guess they decided to find each other and they made a high school their base, mingi was the last to arrive there , after all being together they found a way to bring yeo back, now see yeo in the mv but he was all the time wearing black suit, until the end when they do that ritual the suit became white, so I guess he was in a parallel world were he can see them and they don't and was just sending signs and waiting for them to bring him back, and they succeed.

So in Fever part one the went through their teen drama, in fever part two they went to another dimension called Strictland and lost their time traveling device (the chromer, the hourglass-looking thing) and in fever part three they went to the bunker, stole back the chromer and discovered that there are people imprisoned there, that look just like them (this is grossly summarised, please read the diary booklets)
Yeosang sends them back to their home dimension, but he didn't make it (sad boi Ateez activated). Them back in their home dinemsion is turbulence.
Now word on the streets has it, that travelling through dimensions has permanently altered their genetics. Thats why Wooyoung can fly in Turbulence. Or the glass with Yeosang shows indicators of earthquakie business. Or why Mingi was clouded in mist. Or wwhy the paper planes formed a tornado around Hongjoong. You get the idea.
This (here Music video) is them honing their newfound abilities, because in Say My Name (the MV) Yeosang is still in that glass cage in Strictland, waiting to be freed.
There is also the Idea, that next to Strictland (which is depicted in MVs like HALA HALA, SMN, Deja VU and Fireworks) and Ateez' home dimension (in MVs such as Inception, the diary Film, Turbulence) and dimensions where the two of them meet (Answer stands out for that one) there is a third storyline unfolding alongside them that include MVs like Thanxx, the real, Eternal Sunshine, Wonderland and Wave).
Where HALA!teez fight against the corrupt government and Fever!teez are honestly just trying to fullfill their dream of becoming a successfull musician (with all the anxiety that comes with having a dream like that) there ae a couple of Songs that are thematically different because, and I now this sounds horrible, because they are happier.
The lyrics in ES say: there are a lot of things that are eternal and we are the bst of them.
Now thats confidence. BUt our local resident Ateez are either in JAIL or broken hearted because they just lost one of their brothers.
That doesn't tend to build the most confidence. Now we have the same people going "this what we call style". Again, not something someone in prison would tell you. Or someone who just lost soeone close to them.

So essentially the storyline starts at Inception, continues through the mvs and wraps around to treasure and we end at Answer. Ateez gets trapped in the Halateez dimension. Yeosang saves them by using the Hourglass (Cromer) to send them back but he’s still stuck. He breaks the Cromer to stop the Android Guardians (white mask guys). In The Real, the boys create another Cromer and bring Halateez Yeosang to their dimension. That’s why Yeosang is in white. There’s so much more to the storyline though

Loved this reaction, this MV was everything we needed! I saw on Twitter that the book Mingi is reading is about morality, so it's like their morals and beliefs are what's protecting them and making them strong; that aside, this song was teased at the end of Fireworks and first released for Kingdom's finale and appeared at the end of Eternal Sunshine too, and this version seems to have added traditional instruments in the instrumental! Yeosang was trapped somewhere else and instead of normal nice yeosang coming back, hala yeosang came and he’s pretending to be normal yeosang, he also symbolizes peace here that’s why when he came they stopped fighting and started dancing together that also explains the bread thing because birds eat bread and they symbolize peace wow i said yeosang so many times but yeah i hope that makes sense. Hello! I'm your fan, from Korea. I think you should be know sooooo adorable story in this MV. This MV story is probably highschool story. (You already see ‘ATEEZ highscool’ in first of MV 😎) In this video, Mingi seems to be a transfer student! And in Korea, it is a unique custom to encourage transfer students to join the club!
Sunghwa&hongjoong is maybe Seo-ye club.(Seo-ye is Traditional Korea Calligraphy. For this reason,, they wearing Hanbok!)
Wooyoung&San is seems like Base ball club. (In general, some workout club is sooooo many rule. I think Wooyoung and San is leader of club! They are teaching rule to club member.)
And Jong-Ho&Yoon-Ho is maybe NOT club. I think they are FAM.(this word is short word for Family, In general, it refers to a group of little bad boy and girl in Korea gathering and playing.)

Mingi is a new student at the school and the different clubs try to get him to join them (San and Wooyoung Baseball club, Hongjoong and Seonghwa Calligraphy club, Jongho and Yunho biker club). The clubs seem to argue, but instead of fighting they have some kind of dance off. Mingi refuses, which is why he and one member of each club punch each other at the end. The beam attracts Yeosang who was watching from afar. My theory is that their 'superpowers' did not only summon the book they held after the punch, but maybe restored their memories of the other dimensions/music videos? Which is why they were friendly towards each other afterwards and Yeosang came out, because he could remember them from the beginning and was just waiting for this to happen?
Also something I want to point out: The music video looks pretty 'old school' and the area they dance in seems almost abandoned. I wonder if in this reality, there was a war/a fight (it reminds me of the atmosphere in the Fireworks MV) and the school is teaching people to not use violence anymore and enjoy dancing (which was forbidden in the Halateez universe). :)

The real was first revealed at the end of i'm the one (fireworks). It was probably supposed to be the next title song however they decided to use it for the final round of kingdom. The Real Heung ver is the one in this album but the original The Real has already been released.

Rough idea is that after being all taken to another world and fighting the white suit mask guys in their toxic world in deja vu they had infiltrated the giants base (mask guy) to free the black pirate doubles and while managed and were slightly affected by the yellow smoke they escaped but the giants had yeosang but he in a confrontation is able to use the cronesphere to send the others back home but it breaks and he’s not with them. They think he’s dead in turbulence and they are back feeling sad, scared and finding they may have abilities after being to the giant world. When they realise the signs all add up that yeosang is alive, that he’s still there trying to get to them. Which I think is why he’s here but watching from the crowd or looking at them cause they feel his presence while they also become teachers and mentors to a new generation in their school they also home the abilities they have discovered which culminates in using them to pull yeosang back and he walks back into them in white having been saved and returned home by the powers combined by seonghwa, woo young, mingi and jungho. So they escaped the giants world and seemed to free the pirates that were native there to fight back against them so liberating a world. Now back home they are creating a new world with all they learned and gained, as we saw in their seasons greeting they had graduation style photo shoots cause now they are teachers and leaders knowing the next chapter what they will do here with that new power? Will they take on new enemies? Who knows lol 😂
