    Full disclosure - some bags are provided by the company to me for purposes of a review. I NEVER get paid by these companies and NEVER promise a positive review to these companies. My reviews are always simple and honest. #EDC #review #fashion

    I'm looking for a new bag and saw my sister still using her High Sierra bag after 8 years. She's going to the mountain now and I can vouch that this bag is durable.

    I always like your honest reviews. The price is good, but not enough to consider buying.

    I quite enjoy High Sierra bags. They are usually extremely durable and spacious for the price point. Great review!

      Thanks!!! I’ve never owned one before this - and I’m intrigued

    Thanks for the review! Bag looks really nice & functional to me! I know you complained about those side-flaps (because you want it to be a clamshell), but I like it... Reminds me of the Alpaka Elements Tech Brief. For $59.99, I’m willing to give them a shot... I just purchased it with your link, along with their Access Pro backpack (and an additional 20% off if you send them your email). Hopefully you get compensated for it!

      I don’t! But don’t sweat that - I am just happy you found a bag you like!!!

    A great and thorough but a minor sticking point is being unable to carry a 32oz or bigger water bottle or nalgene. I tend to carry a 40oz with me everyday at the office and I have been struggling to find a bag that can hold it in a side pocket (bad experiences with carrying a bottle like this INSIDE bags). The search is endless.

      Agreed - all the huge bottle pockets seem to be interior pockets

    I love this review! I'm trying to find a bag that can hold wet clothes (swim wear), do you know if the gym compartment of this bag is waterproof? I'm worried water will get on my laptop/notebooks.

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately, no. I don’t think this bag would work for someone looking for a fully waterproof solution.

    Nice video. Any other bags you would suggest that can be carried as a backpack and have a shoulder strap? Most important how many beers can the duffel section hold as that’s how I measure my bags.

    • @ThePerfectBag
      @ThePerfectBag  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What you’re looking for is usually called a “hybrid duffle” - its rarer to see a backpack marketed as having a strap…the Cotopaxi Allpa is my favorite to have this feature. The Patagonia black hole is a great duffel with deployable straps. The topo designs global travel pack is also good with this feature.
      As for beers that can fit in this one? I think you’d be able to put in so many the straps would fail. This is a big bag!!’

    Do you think you could put a 17” laptop in the laptop compartment?

    • @user-cp1yj8js9c
      @user-cp1yj8js9c 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This bag is very large, my wife just put two 16" macbook in the laptop compartment and a large LV style tote bag in the "workout" compartment , and shoes, cloths and bunch of stuff and got on a plane. I bought it on sale in Jan. 2024 for $24, I think they are now around $48, and still worth it as the quality of the material is quite nice.

    If it's a gym bag, the interior should be a darker and more durable fabric so stains are less visible.

      That’s true!
