This was my first ever Street Fighter! Takes me way back. I'm from a Third World Country, So our generation skipped VCR and most of the Cartridge Games. CDs on PCs were our first exposure to Gaming at home. I remember it was back in 2002. I was 6, and used to play a lot on my mom's Compaq PC (remember those?) I got into Anime recently, and was a huge fan of the Art Style. We had those Pirated CDs kinda like 99999 Games in 1 cartridges. It had a bunch of Fighting Games on it. I remember, the one I liked the Most was Street Fighter: Alpha. It wasn't labelled tho, so i had to open various games till i found it everytime I played. I just got encapsulated from everything that was in the game. The game had a Bug where it didn't play the opening cutscene (blank screen, piracy ofc), so i never got to see them until much later. It just hits different man. All those amazing Anime-esque sprites and the Sounds, and the Vibrant colours of the UI and Levels. It was like a huge deal for me, to have found something Anime themed that I could control. That cool pulsating Animation that used to happen before every special was cool af! My game had a glitch, where whenever i chose or fought Guy, the game used to crash after "Fight!" My game also didn't have working background Music. Only had it at the start of the match and in the Menu. This game holds a very special place in my heart. I'm so glad it was my first experience with the SF series. It hit all the right notes. It was Anime Art Style, the moves were nice and flashy, the UI was real nice, it had different iteration of some iconic characters as well as some entirely new characters, it looked and played really smoothly even on my mum's crappy PC. My fondest memories are playing Spider-Man 2000 on Friday nights, then waking up early in the morning on Saturdays to play this game for couple hours, and watching Spider-Man 2002 a couple times in a row every Sunday before going out to eat Pizza with mom. Ik nobody asked this, but i had to write it down. These were some of my most cherished childhood memories. This game is what sparked a deep interest in me for Anime and Fighting Games. Even tho i always prefered Racing the most, Fighting Games will always have a special place in my heart ❤️
Guy, Birdie and Rose stage theme brought back memories. Guy was my favorite, I loved him in the Final Fight games. Rose stage theme sounds like a Mega Man stage theme.
@@LITTLE1994 How I remember SF1 back in 1987: After Ryu beat Adon in the semi-finals, he heads over to the outside of the Temple Hideout of Thailand to face Sagat during the final-finals of the Street Fighter Tournament. The two fought, but Sagat was hard to hold off because his strength and range is too good, he is also the first actual opponent Ryu faced with ki-force projectiles. Ryu gained the upper-hand by Rising Dragon Fisting Sagat's face knocking both him and his eye-patch off on the ground. Then Sagat says "You've outlasted the best, you are now the strongest street fighter in the world", and then Ryu took a luxury yacht back to Japan. After that, Capcom put so many retcon in that ending, starting with Ryu turning evil and putting a gash on Sagat's chest, which didn't happen.
Nice playthrough, well done. I also like your attitude to your skills - there are a lot of bigheaded people out there, but you know theres room for improvement.
When I faced Sagat as Ryu, sometimes i always start the fight with a fireball war so to avoid that I had to find out if Sagat is doing a tiger shot high or low and jump over or duck under his tiger shot fireballs

To challenge Dan, choose any player. After each round, hold start and the three punch buttons until the next round is set, even between opponents. When your opponents include Sagat or Adon, the words "Here comes a new challenger" will appear and Dan will be your opponent.
How you can make normal combos ? I have try to do your combo and computer combo but it's impossible. You make combo with kicks and then punches , how this is possible ? Also you make the shoryuken and haduken moves very fast one after the other like computer how ?
Hey bud, I use the joystick. Most of Street fighter Alpha 1's combos required "Aimed stop". I've been played this game for years. At the beginning is really hard to get used to it. But as you practice, you'll be good at it :) I always challenge the others during arcade time, that's why I only can play with joystick, can't stand keyboard

Probably....Expert Difficulty and High Damage level always got instantly killed by cpu, I couldn't recall how many times I failed....

That has to do with the story. Alpha was before SF2. In Alpha he gave Sagat the scar.

@@michaelpf08 standard buttons for super combos and like haduken is not easy to do I agree joystick is the best solution.
Target combos. You can LK, MK, HK as a combo while crouched, even standing. My fav to do TC’s with is Guy. Miss this game. Alpha 2 is ma jam tho.
