1930s mule pulled mowers / mid 1980s did give lots of problems.
However, the new Italian made Enorossi mowers are very dependable, fast and owners enjoy the 90 degrees up/ 75 degrees down slope cutting range.

What do you think about double bar sickle mowers?

How well do these newer sickle bar mowers with the double action do cutting second or third growth? I know the old ones used to cut course growth, especially late first cut just fine, but were famous for clogging while trying to cut more rich stuff.

I have a grass field that is rocky and not super flat. It also has mole and ant heaps here and there. Can a sickle mower like this one cut at lets say 6 inches above ground?
