Canh, if you want to build big tank for reserving rain, you may not use bricks , sand and mortar. You can dig a pool at the highest point of your place and cover it by the big plastic pad. When the rain come water will flow into the pool the you can reserve water for using in your daily life. Then you set water flowing system from the pool to your house. Bamboo or plastic pipe may be necessary.
ถ้าอ่านภาษาไทยรู้เรื่องขอแนะนำเป็นภาษาไทยนะครับ คาห์นจะทำถังเก็บน้ำใหญ่เอาไว้ใช้ ผมแนะนำให้ขุดเป็นบ่อ บนจุดที่อยู่สูงสุด ขุดลึกสัก 1-2 เมตร กว้างเท่าที่ที่พื้นที่จะอำนวยให้นะ ขุดเสร็จไปหาซื้อพลาสติกแผ่นใหญ่ที่เขาขายเป็นม้วนเอามาปูพื้นบ่อ ยกขอบบ่อสูงสักกก 30-50 เซติเมตรเพื่อป้องกันดินไหลเข้าไป ในบ่อ พอฝนตกลงมาน้ำฝนจะขังในบ่อ ถ้าอยากได้นำเยอะ ๆ ก็ทำหลังคาพลาสติก เพื่อรวบรวมน้ำฝนลงบ่อ น้องจะมีน้ำเก็บไว้ใช้ แล้ววางท่อเพื่อต่อน้ำลงไปใช้ที่บ้าน ถ้ากลัวแมลงหรือเศษใบไม้ตกลงบ่อก็เอาแผ่นพลาสติกปิดคลุมบ่อไว้เลย น้ำจะได้สะอาด ที่ประเทศไทยทำกันเยอะ ใช้ได้ 2 - 3 ปีเลยนะ

Next maximize your hammers head by making it larger around by 2 times. This will make your manjolo work better. You can also try a counter weight on the side where you push with your foot. It will make it easier to push resulting in higher efficiency, faster yield.
