Yep that was a journey I made for many years. I'm an ex Moores man myself. It was lovely to see part of the old boatyard again. Am I correct in thinking Barnes Brinkcraft have taken over the old Moores facilities? As you came down the river past the big blue building on the left I was hoping to get a clear view on the other side. There used to be a big blue shed there and if memory serves it was part of Powel's yard. I suppose that's gone too. Probably private moorings I suppose. I hope you had a nice time.
Always have a great time , thanks , Barns, NBD, and Richardson's , got most of it wrapped up, from what i can see , not to sure of the past tense . Just turn up and do my thing, good enough for me . Happy days . Thanks
@@thunder131 re past tense. At the start of your video everything from your mooring to the river on the right-hand side was Moore & company's boatyard. Including the holiday homes and club house with swimming pool. The last time I was on the Broads was 2000 so perhaps before you started going. Sad to hear it's mostly down to three boatyards. Sign of the times I suppose. Happy boating.
I don't know what happened there but I'm watching a passage of the Blisworth Tunnel. That's not on the Broads!! Edit: Searched your list and found the right video. Funny place, TH-cam

I worked for Ken Barnes through the 1960s, weekends and holidays, but I hardly recognise any of this.
