It’s crazy that he was asked to say that cause in everyone of his interviews after that he has said multiple times that he considers himself a TNA guy more than a wwe guy & that he has had his best matches in tna. It was obviously wwe being jealous that he refused to come back & wanted to have the rest of his career in tna similar to Sting & his loyalty for tna which wwe would also hold against him as well & take it out on him immaturely with his entire disappointing run in wwe just to lose every match except one, smh.

the problem with VKM is that apparently neither HHH nor HBK even knew about it too much. from what I know, HHH asked the guys what the whole VKM stuff was about only when they went back to WWE, so the "cease and desist" thing was the biggest acknowledgment the story ever got from the "attacked" party. if that really was the biggest shot TNA ever took (which, maybe it was), then it really shows they didn't have nearly as much reach as they thought they had

Man... I NEED Joe Hendry to be in this coming year's rumble. The pop will be insane. There was another shot that WWE took at TNA where when NXT was still a reality show, they had Kaval (aka Low-Ki) doing a rhyme battle and he ended it by saying "find out what I'm packing because I'm the only reason for some Total Nonstop Action"

It led to a segment where both Michael Cole and Josh Matthews insisted Kaval needed to be the next person eliminated. While it made sense for Cole, because he was entering his awful heel run at the time and viewed Kaval as the next Daniel Bryan for him to hate, Matthews had been the face cheering Kaval until he made the TNA reference.

There was also another reason TNA put the title on Eric Young then which was also a copy of WWE. E-Y was hosting his own show at the time(I can't remember what) and TNA wanted to turn that into something culturally significant by putting the belt on him. Get those ratings up someway. Daniel Bryan was popular on his own but he was also showing up quite regularly on Total Divas at the time.

Tony Khan needs to learn from TNA’s example. There is no re resting the ratings war; the WWE today is a vastly different entity than the WWF was in the 90’s.
