I live near Niagara Falls, NY, so it takes us about 8 hours to drive to NYC, so we don't go that often. Last time we were there, though, we made sure to stop at The Strand. I brought a list of book titles with me that I couldn't find anywhere else, and they had each and every one of the books I was looking for, so that was fun! And I know what you mean about feeling overwhelmed in that store. It's a lot to take in upon crossing the threshold. As you were video taping the bookstore shelves, I spied a book I want to get for myself!!! So, thank you. The book is "The Unfortunate Life of Worms" and I just got a B&N gift card for $25 which will cover the cost of the book. How delightful is that?!!
