    Germany was fully guilty of WWI and Versailles was very lenient. Spain didn't exist in the Thirty Years' War.

      The Spanish empire under Philip IV did participate in the Thirty Years war.

    So you would rather have a country just promise to not declare war again? A peace treaty is when you boil it down just a legal document, no different from what a laywer would probably make you sign if he where to take your case or an employer would make you sign with the conditions for your employment.
    It is Napoleons fault he when back to France and went to war again, NOT the british and allies fault.
    There is a little thing called personal acountabilty…
