as a boomer who watched the canucks in the 70's and 80's when they couldn't win on the ice but they could in the alley, i would like to go on record to say i like the game today much more than back in the violent era. my 2 peeves are not calling 3rd man in consistently and players being challenged by a 3rd party when they deliver a clean hard hockey hit. great pod.
We still need to do both. Look at 94. I know you remember how tough our team was then. Yes, the league is different nowadays. But I think with JR and Tocchet in charge, they'll keep moving this team in that direction.
