Hey Steveo, I’m not a pilot but I’m a huge fan of aviation. A few weeks ago we were at a wedding in Camarillo California. The wife and I decided to have breakfast at the Camarillo airport and watch the plans come and go. As luck would have it, the airport was socked in with fog. No traffic whatsoever ever. All of a sudden, just above the runway a TBM breaks out and lands! What a sight. The plane pulled right up to the little cafe. I had no idea those TBM’s were so loud! The pilot shut her down and ran into a little office next to the restaurant. Within 5 minutes the pilot returned carrying a large pizza! He jumped in and away they went. The entire cafe loved watching him pull up and leave. I thought about asking him if I could start her up. After staying in a Holiday Inn that night and watching all your videos, I felt I could pull it off. Alas I thought better of that. Keep up the good work!

It is not hard to be a pilot, if you have enough coordination to ride a bicycle, loves basic math and science, you can learn to fly an aeroplane. You must keep in mind, he is flying an advanced turbo prop in busy airspace. When you start flying, you will be in a 2 seat piston with very simple instruments and controls. From there on you gain experience and as you become more familiar with aviation you will be ready to upgrade to larger and faster aircraft and busier airspace, you have to crawl before you walk. What keeps you alive though, depends on how you approach aviation, your attitude and personality. You also need to be medical fit.

Hey Steveo, a long time fan since your early YT days. Inspired me to want to be a pilot and go for my CPL. Unfortunately I can only hold a PPL due to medical disqualification (eye sight). Always love to watch your content and have learned a lot of airmanship watching your flights. Your content is always both educational and entertaining. Keep up the good work !

    Absolutely lovely plane.
Its quite something that i recognise every element and switch of the TBM including the differences to the TBM 930 that i have spent a good 30 hours flying within Microsoft Flight Sim 2020.
Would be an absolute dream to fly one of these one day.

Very Smooth flight ! You guys were both cool during the landing in spite of heavy traffic and cross wind. i was anxious just watching, but that plane is amazing ! It actually flies itself and can even land itself. It's a beautiful aircraft 1 Too bad it costs 4 mil.. I didn't see the passenger compartment until the end, beautiful ! Thanks for the ride along.

@Peter Evans so genius, take your head out of your ass. Pay attention to Boeing, no matter what you think of the AI , you will always have unscrupulous humans controlling it . Speaking of math, how many people are going to line up to fly in passenger drones?? Stay in the basement, you will hurt yourself in the real world.

The motorcycle was a flight marshall. The check exterior for any oddities and leaks. The SUV was the guy on the mic stating all clear.
