Sorry I missed this yesterday Grumpy - some challenges here too - dealing with the side effects of my own disease at the same time others in my house are dealing with their own hassles and a banging headache I'm living up to my own grumpiness. Sorry you are experiencing so much pain at the moment, there's not a lot you can do for distraction when it gets really bad - my mate had pain with his Crohns and used to go stand on the decking and just watch the world, concentrating on little things, anything he could to keep his focus busy. I don't know if that helps. Meantime I see you have a lot of books - both fiction and I think non-fiction - which are your favourites of each and why?
