This is a publicly traded company, who has a monopoly on this type of game, whose CEO has his bonus based on microtransaction sales... Having even a miniscule amount of hope regarding MyTeam after all they have done is willful ignorance. They killed MyTeam in 2K23, and they have completely defiled it's corpse this year.

Only real option if you're a basketball fan. Like I hate how far down 2k has gone but it's the only true basketball sim you can get. It's like supply and demand. I definitely more conscious when it comes to buying in but facte remains until 2k has competition this is how it's going to go

As someone who goes for collector level every year this is insane…. They should have had the 100 overall option pack along the way to kobe …I also already contacted Sony for a refund they said getting a refund for a game purchase over 8 months ago isn’t possible at all.. and they couldn’t refund my pro pass purchase this season because I have “already used the purchase”.. asked 2k for a refund they told me I had to contact whoever sold it to me (Sony)
I haven’t touched 2K in 2-3 weeks and each week it just gets worse and worse😂😂 From gambling only players, VC only packs in MyTeam…, 2K servers being bad as ever, and now changing the 2000 card collector last minute💀 There isn’t any substance this game has left and it has 5 months till 25 comes out. The only relevance people have to play this game is that it’s a current basketball game with updated rosters

Get the word out to creators like MMG, his wheel of 2k series is delayed because of his ability to get players and he’s not happy about it. A video or reaction to something like this from him would be a huge slap in the face for 2k, something we can all agree they deserve

Bro what happened to games where you just buy the damn game and have fun? I’ve ditched 2k this year. And just picked it up this year after not playing since 2k21. Games like Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Starfield, ARK survival Ascended, EVEN MLB The Show 24, are all games on game pass. Even without game pass, I’d buy either of those games. And their so much more fun, refreshing, rewarding, and relaxing. F 2k lol. I love those games instead. 2k you can’t really play and have fun without spending money AND Mindless hours first. And for each mode even if you put money, you still have to grind like hell. Rather it’s mycareer with badges and upgrades, or MyTeam with gambling packs. And btw I’m a no money spent player with a pretty good team who’s grinded a lot of the old collections. But I stopped a couple weeks ago with bold 2 🤣 pulled a free Ricky Davis out of an exchange pack. A while back. Still don’t have much motivation for the game. It’s cooked and I’m just playing more refreshing games.
SMH. A $70 AAA game, that constantly tries to make its players spend money on the game to stay relevant. What happened to days when you could just buy the game and instantly have fun, and expect that same fun when you hop on? Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Starfall, ARK Survival Evolved, and even MLB the Show 24, are all amazing games on Xbox Games Pass. Found themto be so much more refreshing, rewarding, and just overall fun. Played from Christmas til a couple weeks ago, pretty much got off after during bold 2. Just not fun. Game is so scummy rather mycareer or MyTeam. It takes mindless hours and most of the times money, in order to even have a little fun online. Nope. Games is cooked. I’m loving MLB the Show and Star Wars. Started MLB the show in 2021 and man Diamond Dynasty is really fun and rewarding.

Hey DBG. It's been a while since I've watched one of your videos. I have been a subscriber since the 2K17 days, and while I don't watch your myteam content or anyone else's myteam content, it's not your fault. This year killed my entire joy for the game mode of my team, and I'm not a massive park fan, so I haven't played the game since November. And especially after what happened today, I will not be buying next year's 2k.
With saying all of this, I truly wish you all the best and happiness in the world. You're an amazing creator, and while you may have "fallen off", that isn't your fault at all. The game killed itself. And has taken the entire community down with it. And it's so sad to see.
Thank you for all the memories, I do hope you continue to create other content because I believe you're a great creator, but this game and company is so fucked up and I feel terrible for everyone who has opted to spend their hard earned money on this facade of a game.
I'm feeling bad for people who actually spent money from day 1 solely to get that Kobe. Although it was quite surprising from 2K to claim collector level would be 'done' in April anyway. People should probably have understood there would be something fishy...
But then again my 38 hof opal Kobe is still one of the best single cards in the game which makes me happy. Pulled it from a free challenge pack an hour or so after the whole card even became available...
But hey, I'm sure a 99 or 100 Kobe will be in gamble only packs during the next few Friday drops. Just watch...

There is absolutely no excuse they can give!! For months now they’ve been releasing 100 overall players every Friday. There is ZERO reason as to why they couldn’t add a 100 overall Kobe for the collector level. 100 overall Kobe will be coming to the casino soon and that’s all there is to it.
think about how few people will complete collector level too. They changed the reward so they could put kobe in packs to squeeze more money out of 0.00000000001% of their audience
