Ryan and Hugh are Stray Kids fans, and the group loves their work, so this collab was a blast for all involved. I'd suggest "God's Menu," "Lalala," "Thunderous," honestly you can't go wrong with any of their discography. The new song for the Deadpool movie, is being released on the 23rd at 6pm.

The Stray Kids have a song in the Deadpool and Wolverine movie, it's called SLASH, that one drops next week with a MV. This is off their new album called ATE. I'd do Lalalala, Megaverse, God's Menu, Thunderous, and then the new ones as they come out. They will drop a dance practice to this at some point, they make them for all of their title tracks and some of the Bsides. Also, they have the best transitions in the business, their editor is just fire.

Now you're ready to binge, lol I don't have bias or bias-wreckers anymore, because, honestly, they all wreck each other so much they really can't compete. I love these guys. They are very strong with the rap and hiphop influence (but truly, they explore a very wide range of styles and genres). I have come to see a signature of theirs is switch up, intense music that drops to melody and then hits again, and so on (which, imo, this song isn't the best example, but watch more and you'll see).. There are songs that are comparatively consistent but I would say these are in the minority. Han and Changbin are two of the top rappers right now (and Changbin, purple hair this time, is going lighter than usual in this... actually, I think Han is going a pinch light also.... as you hear more of their music, you'll see). Personally, I have never liked rap ever. But I love theirs. They have a unique flow and tone. Since I became a fan of SKZ rap, I thought I'd check out rap of other groups and I haven't found any that I enjoy. And the other members rap also. Oh and they can all sing. The primary vocalists are top-notch too. And they can all dance. And they are all visuals. Every one of these guys have a different sound and it comes together beautifully. And they write and produce nearly all of their music and contribute to choreography. They write their music to say what they want to say and write the music to sound how they want it to sound. They don't let anyone tell them what to do, and they have many songs that express this. The level of control and input these guys have is almost non-existent in the industry, and it was a highly unusual "experiment" for JYP to allow Bang Chan to choose the members, create his team, not just take a company made team and do something with it. There are groups out there that do a lot of their own stuff, but nobody does it like Stray Kids. Add all this to being truly genuine, caring, good guys... they are beautiful people, inside and out. To my eye, their humility is real. They know they're good and they know the list of evidence of their success, but they just look like it hasn't fully sunk in. They are fun, extremely hard working, and most clearly, they love. I do want to acknowledge that this song is unusually short. Two and a half minutes!?! Usually they are three to three and a half. We always want more. But they hit so hard (and their choreo almost never stops, and formations constantly shifting so smooth) you kinda have to let them have it. You have so much to see--MV's, stages, don't forget practice videos, as well as variety content. OMG So much. And Kingdom, you can't miss Kingdom Legendary Wars. (And Kingdom is where the relationship with Ryan Reynolds originates-being Deadpool fans they incorporated it into a Kingdom performance and got Ryan's attention; this is a big deal that he joined their video.) Their music video designers and editors are top notch. IMO, SKZ editors are Transition Kings and Masters of Matchcuts. Their MVs for past few years were known for amazing crazy transitions tbh & I personally feel like there are less transitions on this MV compared to their other MVs. So if you are genuinely entertained by this one visually speaking I feel like you would be interested in watching their other MV simply for the visuals, like S Class, God's Menu, Back Door, Thunderous, Case 123, Maniac & Lalalala. And if you ended up liking their music then that's a big plus I guess lol.

Their rap line is arguably the best ever and they all sing amazingly as well (their vocal line specifically has the most unique and beautiful tones I've ever heard).

Best part is not only Ryan and Hugh in the MV but SKZ also have a brand new song on the Deadpool & Wolverine Soundtrack. I'm so hyped cause I love SKZ and Marvel!
SKZ debuted in 2018 and are one of the most unique and fire groups in gen 4 of Kpop. They write, compose, and produce their music and all 8 of them are all around powerhouses. They can sing, dance, rap, and produce. They had a hard start in Korea due to their willingness to mix genres and try all sorts of things. Their music is layered and always has their flavour, no matter how different a track might be from the previous one. You always know it's Stray Kids in the best possible way. If you're interested in checking out more of their stuff, the easiest place to start is probably their most popular stuff - Gods Menu, Thunderous, Maniac, Back Door, S-Class, LALALALA, venom, Easy, CHEESE LMK if you have a preferred genre and I can rec some ones that are more tailored to that. If you want to know how the whole Deadpool x Stray Kids thing started, you HAVE TO check out Stray Kids' performance of "God's Dudududu." It was their stage on Kingdom, a Korean competition show between K-pop groups, where their concept was Deadpool/Marvel related. Ryan Reynolds saw it, became a fan, and they began interacting online, exchanging gifts like Ryan sent his alcohol and Stray Kids sent him their album. Since two of the Stray Kids members are Australian, Hugh got into it, too. This was back in 2021, and they've been supporting each other ever since. For us fans, this has been a long time coming. It feels extremely rewarding to see Ryan and Hugh in their MV and an unreleased original Stray Kids song "Slash" is announced to be in the new Deadpool movie, as well!

I have been excitedly waiting for the Marvel fans to discover Stray Kids because of this! Trust me we aren't angry you didn't know who they were. We get seriously excited to watch people find them for the first time. Stray Kids did a Deadpool themed performance back in 2021 during a competition called Kingdom Legendary Wars (they won the competition) but it drew Ryan Reynolds attention and he was appreciative and vocal on his Instagram about it. He became a fan of theirs and they are obviously huge fans of his. The leader of Stry Kids Bang Chan and Ryan had a couple interactions on social media leading to Ryan calling Chan his favorite Australian picking on Hugh Jackman who came back with saying Felix (the other Australian member was his favorite. The four of them have teased this collab for at least a year. Stray Kids have an unreleased song called Slash in the upcoming Deadpool movie and there are a couple videos easily found of Chan and Ryan interacting as well as Chan, Ryan, Felix and Hugh chatting. Stray Kids are considered Kpop music though really they are in a category all their own. They love to play with sounds and genres of music so you don't know from one song to the next what you will get. They are 8 members (formerly 9) consisting of leader Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.n (pronounced as letters not as the word in). They are self producing. Though they all take turns at writing and producing songs, the majority is done by 3racha which consists of Chan, Changbin and Han. I hope you listen to more of their music. It is fire. I can't wait for the Marvel fans to discover Stray Kids through both this MV, and the song Stray Kids have on the Deadpool and Wolverine soundtrack (a song called Slash). Ryan and Hugh are Stray Kids fans, and the group loves their work, so this collab was a blast for all involved.

The Stray Kids have a song in the Deadpool and Wolverine movie, it's called SLASH, that one drops next week with a MV. This is off their new album called ATE. I'd do Lalalala, Megaverse, God's Menu, Thunderous, and then the new ones as they come out. They will drop a dance practice to this at some point, they make them for all of their title tracks and some of the Bsides. Also, they have the best transitions in the business, their editor is just fire.

Welcome to STAYville! (STAY is the fandom name). You have so much material to explore. Now you're ready to binge, lol I don't have bias or bias-wreckers anymore, because, honestly, they all wreck each other so much they really can't compete. I love these guys.
They are very strong with the rap and hiphop influence (but truly, they explore a very wide range of styles and genres). I have come to see a signature of theirs is switch up, intense music that drops to melody and then hits again, and so on (which, imo, this song isn't the best example, but watch more and you'll see).. There are songs that are comparatively consistent but I would say these are in the minority. Han and Changbin are two of the top rappers right now (and Changbin, purple hair this time, is going lighter than usual in this... actually, I think Han is going a pinch light also.... as you hear more of their music, you'll see). Personally, I have never liked rap ever. But I love theirs. They have a unique flow and tone. Since I became a fan of SKZ rap, I thought I'd check out rap of other groups and I haven't found any that I enjoy. And the other members rap also. Oh and they can all sing. The primary vocalists are top-notch too. And they can all dance. And they are all visuals. Every one of these guys have a different sound and it comes together beautifully. And they write and produce nearly all of their music and contribute to choreography. They write their music to say what they want to say and write the music to sound how they want it to sound. They don't let anyone tell them what to do, and they have many songs that express this. The level of control and input these guys have is almost non-existent in the industry, and it was a highly unusual "experiment" for JYP to allow Bang Chan to choose the members, create his team, not just take a company made team and do something with it. There are groups out there that do a lot of their own stuff, but nobody does it like Stray Kids. Add all this to being truly genuine, caring, good guys... they are beautiful people, inside and out. To my eye, their humility is real. They know they're good and they know the list of evidence of their success, but they just look like it hasn't fully sunk in. They are fun, extremely hard working, and most clearly, they love.
I do want to acknowledge that this song is unusually short. Two and a half minutes!?! Usually they are three to three and a half. We always want more. But they hit so hard (and their choreo almost never stops, and formations constantly shifting so smooth) you kinda have to let them have it. You have so much to see--MV's, stages, don't forget practice videos, as well as variety content. OMG So much. And Kingdom, you can't miss Kingdom Legendary Wars. (And Kingdom is where the relationship with Ryan Reynolds originates-being Deadpool fans they incorporated it into a Kingdom performance and got Ryan's attention; this is a big deal that he joined their video.) Their music video designers and editors are top notch. IMO, SKZ editors are Transition Kings and Masters of Matchcuts.

Their music is layered and always has their flavour, no matter how different a track might be from the previous one. You always know it's Stray Kids in the best possible way.

If you want to know how the whole Deadpool x Stray Kids thing started, you HAVE TO check out Stray Kids' performance of "God's Dudududu." It was their stage on Kingdom, a Korean competition show between K-pop groups, where their concept was Deadpool/Marvel related. Ryan Reynolds saw it, became a fan, and they began interacting online, exchanging gifts like Ryan sent his alcohol and Stray Kids sent him their album. Since two of the Stray Kids members are Australian, Hugh got into it, too. This was back in 2021, and they've been supporting each other ever since. For us fans, this has been a long time coming. It feels extremely rewarding to see Ryan and Hugh in their MV and an unreleased original Stray Kids song "Slash" is announced to be in the new Deadpool movie, as well!

I am sure Stay has already posted this but, Stray Kids is an 8 member group from South Korea. They produce their own music and have much more creative freedom that a lot of Kpop groups do. They have 3 units but honestly the members can basically do it all. 3Racha: Bang Chan (Leader and Main Producer), Changbin (Rapper and Main producer), Han (Rapper and Main Producer), Danceracha: Felix (The man with a voice as deep as the ocean), Lee Know (Main Dancer), Hyunjin (Dancer and the one who starts off the first course in Chk Chk Boom), Vocalracha: Seungmin (Main vocals), I.N. (Maknea- Youngest member in a Kpop group and Vocals.)

I see plenty of great comments with good info and suggestions already, so I'll just add that If you react to more from them, STAYS (their fans) will LOVE to watch!!!! I have been excitedly waiting for the Marvel fans to discover Stray Kids because of this! Trust me we aren't angry you didn't know who they were. We get seriously excited to watch people find them for the first time. Stray Kids did a Deadpool themed performance back in 2021 during a competition called Kingdom Legendary Wars (they won the competition) but it drew Ryan Reynolds attention and he was appreciative and vocal on his Instagram about it. He became a fan of theirs and they are obviously huge fans of his. The leader of Stry Kids Bang Chan and Ryan had a couple interactions on social media leading to Ryan calling Chan his favorite Australian picking on Hugh Jackman who came back with saying Felix (the other Australian member was his favorite. The four of them have teased this collab for at least a year. Stray Kids have an unreleased song called Slash in the upcoming Deadpool movie and there are a couple videos easily found of Chan and Ryan interacting as well as Chan, Ryan, Felix and Hugh chatting.
Stray Kids are considered Kpop music though really they are in a category all their own. They love to play with sounds and genres of music so you don't know from one song to the next what you will get. They are 8 members (formerly 9) consisting of leader Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and I.n (pronounced as letters not as the word in). They are self producing. Though they all take turns at writing and producing songs, the majority is done by 3racha which consists of Chan, Changbin and Han. I hope you listen to more of their music. It is fire. While a lot of kpop is seen as teen girl friendly; Stray Kids really attract all ages, demographics and musical tastes because of how they produce music, how they approach their fans and just in general how they are as people. Welcome to Stray Kids. We hope you become a Stay.

There was a video recommended beside the m/v which was an interview between Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds and 2 members of Stray Kids. I think that would be a good way to see the relationship between them first to get into them
