I love the detail in the videos. Always explain just how it is done. Confidence inspiring and I know how difficult it is to get all the intricate elements in shot. Great stuff. Look forward to the next vids always.
that yellow paint mark are proof from factory that the nut was torqued, after each bolt is torqued they mark the nut/bolt, also can give you an easy quick glance in the event the bolt/nut backed off or lost torque in some way
And because fasteners may stretch when torqued down properly you can't really use the marks as a reference beyond the initial torquing they get from the factory.
Great video as always, watching the streetfighter progression keeping me going through lockdown here in melbourne, australia. A million people doing a million of these videos these days that all want you to subscribe & hit like but they cant be arsed to reply to comments. it must be time consuming for you but good on you for making the effort!
The yellow marks are put there when the bike is built as let's say a check list to show that vital bolts/nuts have been torqued, also an indicator if they come loose as the marks won't line up, it isn't for tightening until they line up and its then at correct torque, you could tighten 10nm over and they would line up you could do 10 under and they would line up. Sorry if it sounds like I'm being an ass I'm not but someone would probly end up putting something together finger tight and think oh well the marks line up and end up having an accident
Looks to be the same procedure as my 1199R. Also noticed the same make and size tire. Great looking bikes. Anyway you can do a video on valve adjustments? Also provide a sheet on all torque specs?
That $0.20c lock was keeping your rear shell on mate. Who did that to you? You need to by a lottery ticket on avoiding something catastrophic. Respect.
Hello ! Thanks again for your video :) Where can I find the workshop manual for the streetfigther V4 ? With all torque spec etc... Thanks in advance :)
Hi Bill, I have the sf in stealth black and I really hated seeing the grease underneath my seat cowl. It was coming from the rear chain sprocket. How can I avoid that from happening?
Great video, just a couple of things, I'm sure the lube supplied with the chain was for the pins on the master link, not the 'O' Rings. Surely all you've done is sealed in a dry chain link. Also after just changing my wheel nuts on both sides of the rear wheel on my V4S, it does say in the workshop manual that you should grease the threads and also the touching faces on these.
Thanks for the How-To.... and now I just realized I need Cushdrive nuts and forgot to get em LOL - To Belissimoto I go! Also, where can we get those torque spec sheets?LOL
@@CaliMotoTV fantastic I've just bought the power GPs which apparently are the new power RS . I'm excited to test them . cheers pal 👍 . keep up the great video's.
Hey sir i'm from India❤ lots of love from India❤....your videos are awesome.....please make a video on Triumph Street Tripple RS.....because this is my dream bike😍
Great video and all but why is everybody doing a 520 conversion and why a quick change. Is this just to be cool or is it actually doing some improvements? I beet the hell out of my v4 and at 14k miles my chain is shot. I wanted a 530 chain off the busa, apparently i cant get the sprockets. I dont want to look cool nor do i care about a few grams of weight. I want durability and longevity. Comments and explanations please. Cali Moto..comments?

Really love that blackout kit. Love your SFV4. Cheers from Costa Rica!!!!! Pura vida.
You make my mods so easy! Thanks !
Thanks for watching 🙏
Hi Bill, Thanks for this video👍, however using the grinder while the chain is on the beautiful bike gives me goosebumps😬😜

That kit looks cleans as hell!
If you put a plastic bag over the black wheel nut, then place ur socket over that and torque to specs you can avoid scuffing the wheel nut.
Just re-watched the video on my TV instead of my phone and I see that you did use the plastic bag on the nut. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Thanks for the detailed video, do you have a total cost for the parts purchased?
Hi. Was there a difference when removing the top plastic covers? Didn't it make the legs hotter? Thanks

@@CaliMotoTV Jesus! I'd have a word with those cats.
Where did you get the paint job? Is there a black sprocket kit to run with the OEM chain?

Clean your chain and sprocket off and use a different type of lubricant that doesn't fling. Use a bit of chain cleaner by motul to wipe it off.

You can prevent marks from the big nut tools by placing a pliable plastic layer between the nut and the tool.
Curious why you didn’t add Cush drive nuts? I went EK CG and superlite kit.
Bill, why did you change the front sprocket? It's hidden away so visually you cant really see it, unless there's another reason?
Lighter sprocket, less mass rotating around. Did play around with different gearing too.
That's crazy brother that the rear axle nut was not tight.i would be so mad.

Are you sure it's 274 pound-feet of torque? Cause it's like 371 newton meters
May i know where to download the screws torque specification? Thanks

I am missing locktite on the sprocket screw 🧐
Hey Bill nice vid. How many miles on that OEM chain and sprocket? Are they still good? Or stretched? Is the new sprocket aluminum?
Which tank grips are those??
perfect ! great video. thank you cali moto tv. street fighter is funny bike . my last bike. no change bike thank you

How have these superlite sprockets held up? I ordered a kit, DID chain and JT sprockets, but they sent superlight-sc sprockets.
Still good.
Get a transparent clutch cover. Looks awesome
Cool. That's awesome.
Hi Bro, Ive got a Panigale V2, do u know where i can get its torque specs? Thanks Great Video its so useful.
@@CaliMotoTV thanks anyway
First! Nice vid!
Why Was the nut not torqued?
@@CaliMotoTV Should have been part of the pre delivery checks, dealer maybe cutting corners & ticking boxes without doing it?
The yellow marks aren’t meant to be used after the bolts have been touched….
get the right tool to remove chain ring. It will be safer than use the grinder (without hand protection) ;-)
👍
Cool video but the 7 Ford Escape ads were a bit annoying. Not sure how that Algorithm works but I hope you get a raptor out of the deal
you should have really just gotten the 2023 streetfighter
Well if there was a time machine to go forward 3-4 years from when this video was made... Then yea for sure...🙄
❤️
get some BST carbon wheels
สวยงาม
All that and no weight comparisons ??

Are still able to use the impact on the aluminum rear (55mm) nut?
