Hi. My 200 watt solar floodlight comes on at 5.30 pm south african time . It is still a bit bright. Howcan i adjust any settings that the light comes on when it gets a bit dark. Thank you

My solar light jd 120watt, i bought n only use after 8 months. When i first bought, i tested it was working. I keep in the box for 8 months n did not use it. Today when i press on on remote, no sensor light showing n no light is on. How to fix this problem?

The only button that seems to be working on my brand new unit is the AUTO button. When I press it, the light flashes. Then I pressed 3 hours and nothing happened. I just hooked it up today so I'll see if it turns off after 3 hours.

Mine only works in low and medium light. No full HIGH light, even when I have 100% battery. Why?
I bought 2 units . When it arrived I checked it and they seem to be able to on immediately when I connected the solar panel cable to the spotlight cable. Since I was not ready to use them I disconnected the cables and put back into the original box. Now after a few weeks I decided to install the solar lights but after a day solar charging , when I connected the cable I can only see a blinking red light. When I pressed the auto red switch as according to instruction the light come on for a split second. I tried the other buttons and it doesn't work too. Can you advice me if I am not doing it right ? Thanks

Check wire connection on that little box behind the solar panel. You don't even need a screwdriver 🙋

Under the Auto mode. the lamp will turn on at night and turn off in the morning Automatically.

I have this similar product (the remote control is the same as mine)... when it runs out of battery, seems all the settings I set in remote control is reset, and I have to re-do them.. also, it seems when it is working at night and in the morning it turns off and at night it turns on, the settings are back to FULL brightness, even though I set it it to lowest brightness (to save battery)... is that all normal? The instructions that came with it doesnt explain these subtle behaviours...

1. The charging indicator will turn on when you connect the solar panel( please confirm the solar panel face to sunlight)
2. If you don't connect solar panel to the lamp, the lamp will turn on when you press Auto. The light will turn on at night and turn off in the morning automatically when you connect the lamp with solar panel. Hope this help you.

@@LOVESOLARCOLIMITED I mean I can't turn it off. It seems the solar lamp itself is not sensing the infrared from remote control. The remote control is working, but the solar lamp red light indicator is not.

I have IP65 with the 4 lights and 1 solar panel. It's nice. I used to love it... it still works EXCEPT THE LIGHTS DO NOT TURN ON THE "HIGH" SETTING. I CAN ONLY TURN THE LIGHTS ON LOW AND MEDIUM.. WHEN I TURN ON THE LIGHT TO HIGH, IT FLASHES THE HIGH POWERED LIGHT FOR A FRACTION OF A SECOND, THEN IT TURNS OFF. IT IS FULLY CHARGED. PLEASE HELP
Hi, we have just bought 4 of these lights. Problem is that when i press auto, the light comes on, even in bright daylight, and stays on.
Also, if it is still plugged into the solar panel, the on button doesn't work. It only switches on when i press the auto button.
So, as soon as i press auto, even in bright sunlight, the light comes on.
If i cover it to make it dark, light stays on also.

Normally the lighting not like that, you don't need to press again and again. But may I know if the battery is full power now? The brightness may change when battery in low level.

Normally, the lamp need a remote to turn on/off. but if you connect the solar panel to the lamp at day, the lamp will turn off automatically. If the solar panel not connect with the lamp, then the lamp must need a remote to operate.

We can sell spare part for JD solar flood light, for exsample the battery and LED, glass.But it's not easy to change the battery. We need to broke the glass and the replace the battery and LED.The design is no screw to fix, but need glue to fix. And need a new glass to cover after we broke the old one.
Battery in JD solar flood light is difficult to replace. Because the Lamp is total sealed for waterproof IP 67. The lamp can be Soaked in water for one day but it still work when you take it out. Below video show for about one minute.

But the lamp with replaceable battery can not be so high waterproof level. That is why we make it complete sealed and use longer lifespan battery.
Our Life Po4 battery is 2,000 cycle lifespan compare to the Li-ion battery 500 cycle.
To place the battery, you need to broke the glass and then change the battery. And need to use glue to fix another new glass after change the battery.That is a complicated process and the cost to change battery is even higher that to buy a new lamp.

its confusing as hell. he did not explain if the 3hr 5hr 8hr buttons are automatic. meaning light comes ON automatically but switches off after 3 hrs.

@@LOVESOLARCOLIMITED I have the same problem, I bought two lights, both remotes work on light number 1, but light number 2 doesn't work with remote, it turns off when it's daylight and turns off when it's morning by itself, but the remote on/off button absolutely doesn't do anything unlike light number 1 which turns off and on manually, I do trading in my country and I sure as hell not dealing with you again if you don't fix your products.
I can see that the little plastic sensor on light number has a bump towards the outside while light 2 has the bump towards the inside, almost like faulty craftsmanship.

i have this brand and my comment is "not good" the solar panel easily have "DISCOLORATION" and my JD 100-watts floodlight is not actually 100watts compare to house hold led light 12watts i assure to you they declare 100watts but in reality it is not 100watts..and try to use your TV REMOTE CONTROL and you will shock that it can access your infrared signal very cheap.say something?
