Agreed. TH-cam comments are full of complaints from people who pretend trim levels no longer exist and that everyone is forced to purchase the most expensive highest trim of every product.
Those tires are all terrain not mud terrain. It can be confusing as it has an MT designation which stands for Maximum Terrain. Goodyear calls these an All Terrain tire.

A half a gallon of milk is $2.78 as well. Which one would purchase. Trucks are the same scenario, especially with the horrible mpg of the canyon. Get the biggest you can afford in all realms. $60k gets me full size and in reality a Cyber Truck.
Next I'll buy a Prius instead. I have a Corolla Cross for heavy weekend off-road, with solid axle swap and 35inch tires and winch it can go anywhere I need to go. And still fuel-efficient. And comfortable of course.

This truck wasn’t developed to be *gm’s* Ford Ranger Raptor, I don’t think they care enough to chase them around the market. This truck was designed to be a tremendous improvement over the outgoing Colorado V6 and it’s certainly accomplished that. Chevy doesn’t care about anything else outside of improving product which ultimately improves market share and that’s what they’re doing while Ford & Toyota get more and more expensive without actually offering nicer products. *gm’s* philosophy seems to be correct & working.

At this point, mid size trucks are getting so expensive, I'm just going ng full size. More space, more cargo and towing capacity. And you get a 6 foot bed standard!

Just bought a 2024 Canyon Elevation- I have the car wash roof dent issue and just discovered an oil leak. not off to a good start.
Are you sure you got a roof dent from a carwash? That issue was resolved in the 2024 models, it's not a problem anymore. 2023 only.
