    So my thong obsession is growing (calm down europeans I mean flip flops) but my question is what the weirdest thing you have found hanging in a tree

    This brings back memories. 2004 - Stockton Beach, NSW, I'm in my Uncles almost new Discovery 2....Stuck. I eventually ask a couple of locals for a tow with the tractor they pull boats up onto the beach with. Puzzled one of them replies "You're in a Land Rover mate, just let the tyres down"....All the gear, no idea

    Have travelled from Esperance to Exmouth to Broome and everywhere between. Bremmer remains one of my favourite spots. The campsite there is fab.

    Can you remember what VLT tint you put on the back and rear windows? Im copying your design 😂for everything except the front slide out kitchen, that will be q single bed for our daughter. John....you saved me a ton of cash on the 2 inch lift kit as had no idea a set of $69 Hilux shackles and a torsion Bar wind up is all we needed😅. Thanks mate, Yoshi

    The fires are just unreal. I read somewhere, in the Aussie 2023 bushfire season more than 150 million acres were burnt through. Hard to imagine the scale of it until you realise that's the entirety of the UK - Twice.

    Growing up in Kenya where many of our roads have similar corrugations, the trick is to hit around 80Kp/h at which point you wheels are in contact only with the top of each corrugation, so it feels much smoother. On another note, I thought your HiAce was 4x4.

      Your right for sure but feels a bit out of control sometimes 😂 no it was just a 2 wd and we put and LSD in. She did us proud considering 😀

    Love your videos they're awesome! I have a Hiace AWD and heading to WA from Brisbane. Any beaches with easier access you can recommend to drive on on my way over? Cheers!

      Thanks so much 💙 oh that’s brilliant you’ll love it. I have a massive list of things to see and do in WA that might be helpful to you if you’d like it. It’s way too long for a comment but if you pop us an email to Truebluetravellers@aol.com I’ll happily send it to you. Really sorry I’ve not done the drive across before, definitely on our bucket list. But make sure when you get to Norseman make sure you chuck a left and go to Esperance (depending on the time of year) rather than coming straight into Perth the whole south west coast is magic… and the north west too 😂 not that I’m biased or anything 😂

      Originally from WA here, now in Qld... I'd absolutely suggest Betty's beach and East bay beach in WA where you can also camp on the beachline. Also Wychinnicup Nat park which is next to the beach and all are accessible by a HiAce 4x4. Two peoples bay is another one. Most of the tracks alongside the Eyre Peninsula in dry conditions are ok to get to the cliff faces and camp free. Streaky bay in SA is a must on the beach and the duke caravan Park has beach access. ❤

    Hey guys ,
    Looks awesome. Just curious if you looked at a full time 4wd hiace? I want to do a big lap but I’m not sure about the fuel economy of the 4wd as it’s constant.
    How’s the beach been treating you ?
    Cheers,
    Todd.

    • @truebluetravellers
      @truebluetravellers  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Todd, beaches have been incredible thanks mate, we looked at a 4wd but the money they are is just ridiculous compared to 2wd, also from what I hear they are not meant to be that great but I don’t know anyone personally who has one, theres 2 models apparently, Awd and 4wd, the awd ones are meant to be pretty poor,
      I should of let the tyres down before I got on the beach and I think if I had I would of been fine, just being lazy really, I’ve not done any 4wd so I’m pretty useless too, I’d like to test the van to see how good the lsd is but i don’t want to look like a muppet being bogged with everyone watching 😂, put it this way if I didn’t have the diff in I think I wouldn’t of got out without being pulled out,
      To be honest if we do Australia again we will get a 4wd Ute or a troopy, there’s so many places we’ve wanted to go but are only 4wd accessible, shark bay and coral bay being 2 of them places, all in all mate the hiace is brilliant but even a jacked up 4wd hiace with lockers in wouldn’t get you many more places than ours has (in my opinion)
