This past weekend a woman I know found a piggie on the side of the road in his big cage. Had a free sign on it. She contacted me cause she knew I take in everything. This is my 1st piggie rescue though. He is the sweetest little guy. I am going to my local rescue this evening to see if I can find him a buddy.

That’s how my piggie came to me 😢 My friends sister adopted her (him) from a shelter after she (he) was dumped outside by the first owner 😪😪😭😭 I discovered that she was he 😮😊 I changed his name from Agatha to Pumpkin 🎃 For all the bad stuff he’s been through…..Pumpkin is the sweetest boy 🥰🥰 I think that India is showing you appreciation for rescuing her ❤❤
Teeth issues and generalized muscle weakness is a sign of scurvy. We had a pair of girls that had been abandoned in their people's apartment when they left. We don't know how long they were left, but we took it slow, and they turned out to be some of the sweetest babies we've had.
Oh my goodness, I'm in love. Little Gris is such a sweetie. I've never fallen so hard and fast. All 3 are adorable. Thank you so much for helping them. Little Griz will make a full recovery, I can just feel it in my soul. I think India was doing a happy purr. How could she not be happy now that she is such good care?
This is the cutest most unique trio I’ve ever seen! 2 males & 1 female so unique they are all sweet & loving! They look like they get along perfectly I hope India is indeed spayed & not pregnant so you can keep all 3 together! I really hope you end up keeping them, they are the best & safest in your hands especially Grizzly bear! They need lots of love & attention & lots of healing!

Hi Scotty, First Thank you for all your time, compassion and hard work you put into taking care of all your piggies. I just wanted to offer that I rescued a piggie that a dog had gotten to and had a dislocated arm and both legs weren't working and she was in shock. I tell you this just incase that piggiy might have been attacked by an animal and have broken bones??? My piggy was the same eating and pooping and very resilient. I realized after a few days when I gave her a bath that she could not take care of her personal care and would have to wash her back end daily or she would get crystallized urine build up very quickly cause she couldn't move. Good news it is she moves her legs now but not her front one she just scurries around. I still have to wash her bum often- no problem and she has a cage mate that loves her and has gotten use to her freaky movements. She is very happy and healthy other than her being a basically triapaligic! It's been almost a year since then and she's still going strong, her name is Pumkin.
I’m so glad they have you to look after them and they are so sweet your a man in a million with a big heart I had a few tears in my eyes watching this plz keep us all updated on their progress

And if people ever abandoned animals should leave a record on their profile and that should make them never able to purchase any animals in the future.
I think people should not support breeders in any capacity when there are literally hundreds of homeless animals in Los Angeles alone. These were purchased at the pet shop. If all breeders and all big box Pet shops shut down there would still be thousands of homeless animals available for adoption. With accidental litters, there would always be animals available even if none were ever sold
Scott, I have to tell you, you never cease to amaze me with all that you do. I love my Piggies with my whole heart. And whenever I hear stories like this, I feel blessed that my Piggies are ok and that they'll never have to know this kind of abandonment and people giving up on them. Even if one of my Piggies was sick or paralyzed. I could already tell this piggy is special. I would've done the same thing if I were in your position. Praying for this little guy. And please, if you can, keep us updated on how all of them are doing. Send my love to this special guy. I hope he stays strong 💪.

India is such a little character! Those sounds are the same as when my girl Lily is irritated that I'm not just letting her eat in peace, more of a "c'mon mom! *eyeroll*" kind of sound xD I hope with proper nutrition and lots of vitamin C all 3 will be thriving in no time!

they're all so lucky to have you, and many thanks to you, and also to the *better* roommates that started the quest of saving these piggies. unfortunately, heard a lot of bad rumours about how piggies and other rodent pets are treated in my area, especially by people not helping the abandoned ones, so hearing a good story for once is making me so happy. also, unfortunately, this story of Griz being partially paralysed and both India and Rufus having baldness/discoloration reminds me of the reason why I found your channel - my sister became a piggie owner several years back, and then I had to take over immediately after the two of them got sick, later dying in my arms, and now I see these exact symptoms they've had in the piggies showcased here; maybe if I were living with my parents and sis at that time, and checked in more with the new pets, they could've been saved :'( but now I'm working from home, sharing with my parents and younger siblings, and overtook the newer piggies with the advice and many recommendations of your channel! while I've had to work out some alternatives to treats and medicine, most of it was still applicable, and now I have two wonderful boys I'm the primary caretaker of: a rescue Cherry and a very posh tortoiseshell Tim! and they're both in wonderful health and happiness, and hopefully will remain so in the future. so thank you for helping me on becoming a better pet owner, as I am teaching my previously irresponsible sis (well, tbh that's more on my parents, *she was a baby and you let a BABY handle a responsibility of LIVES* but y'know, parents be thinking they're the most knowledgeable people in the universe) to be a better guinea pig owner herself, as well as thank you for sharing all of these videos and web columns. they're all fantastic.

Scotty I am having some very sensitive days therefore I cannot watch this video, the title alone is making me cry. I used to think this was a weakness but I have now learned that it is my strength but when I'm having days like this I simply have to not watch things. But I wanted to leave a comment show you my support as always. My family watches your videos and the LA gaping rescue, you have helped us immensely to do things the right way. There are other fantastic channels as well. I was able to read one comment that said thank you for giving them a chance so I know that you are going to do everything you can and this again speaks so hugely of your heart and the compassionate hearts of the people that you volunteer with and work with etc. Because that energy bounces off of all of you and you create more amazing love that way. They are all as cute as can be and in the best of hands now, and have a great chance for recovery! I can never tell about the purring, but she did seemed to be doing the high pitch purring when pleasant things were happening--food and cuddling. I think I've heard the low pitch purring when my own piggies were not so pleased about something, so I'm thinking what I've heard that the high pitch means a purr, a low pitch means displeasure might be true--but it's hard to tell for sure. I used to think this was a weakness but I have now learned that it is my strength but when I'm having days like this I simply have to not watch things. But I wanted to leave a comment show you my support as always. My family watches your videos and the LA gaping rescue, you have helped us immensely to do things the right way. There are other fantastic channels as well. I was able to read one comment that said thank you for giving them a chance so I know that you are going to do everything you can and this again speaks so hugely of your heart and the compassionate hearts of the people that you volunteer with and work with etc. Because that energy bounces off of all of you and you create more amazing love that way. That's how this stuff works. May every effort be blessed by God above, we have saved many pigs also but nothing quite like this so I am rooting for Y'ALL AND SENDING LOVE AND PRAYERS 💓🙏
The thing about rescue is it is only sad until we get involved which happens right at the beginning and then we make it happy. Trust me you can watch this video and it will make you happy

Thank you Scotty and thank you to the kind-hearted roommates that called to get these little Sweet Peas some help! They are all as cute as can be and in the best of hands now, and have a great chance for recovery! I can never tell about the purring, but she did seemed to be doing the high pitch purring when pleasant things were happening--food and cuddling. I think I've heard the low pitch purring when my own piggies were not so pleased about something, so I'm thinking what I've heard that the high pitch means a purr, a low pitch means displeasure might be true--but it's hard to tell for sure. Going to visit your etsy shop right now😊

We may never know what goes on in someone's life, but Scotty, you are known and the quick action by the roommates to help those sweet piggies, saved them! Happy sounds and love how she was giving loves after. Love their names too!
That's so sad. I'm so glad they're with you now, Scotty. It will be nice to watch them improve under your care. Some piggies do rumble when they're pleased/happy. I have one who does that during/after his fave snacks. It's so cute!

India had the same “Whisper of a Zoom” on her muzzle as my lavender silkie Neah. Silkies are so level headed, great to have around
