I enjoy the older ships, the Princess Sun class was the favourite for sure, Sun Princess, Dawn, and the wonderful Sea Princess that took us around the world on a very memorable trip. My brother just tried a monster to see what it's like, he said 5000 people is just way too much for him. I am glad to see these companies are refitting good serviceable ships, we should get to enjoy them for a lot longer. Was pleased to hear in your report that the Aria is alive and well. Also a nice sized ship to travel on . Thanks again Chris.
Chris, do you like the older or newer ships better? I do not have much experience, but I feel the older ships have everything, class, elegance, beauty, charm, history, comfort.
Do you have any information about the future of the Millennium Class ships (Celebrity)? I know Millennium herself and Summit were majorly renovated before the pandemic but Infinity and Constellation have not been (at least not to the same extent). Does Celebrity intend to complete these delayed renovations? Do they plan to keep all 4 ships in the fleet?
Legend of the Seas was my favorite.. the style of ship was very neat.. And you already know, I LOVE the older ships.... The video on MVAS/Costa Classica was great.. As was THIS one... ;-)
Just came off Marella Explorer today as the first group onboard on Monday after she had her drydock referb as well right after Discovery 2 (was more a tech overall I believe, but never been able to find out anything) finished hers.
‼️ DATE CORRECTION - AIDAaura was built in 2003, not 2013. I need to drink more coffee before recording 😂😂😂

Like the older ships. Hate the new monsters!
Well maybe they don't like you. The last cruise I was on in 2023, I got COVID and it ruined the entire cruise. God bless me
I only sail on old ships. I feel that the potential floating death traps are a ticking time bomb since nothing was learned from Concordia.
Terrific vid - thanks
I prefer the older smaller ships
I also have only sailed on old ships 🚢. They are usually smaller with less passengers. ❤

Would you cruise on any of these refurbished ships?
Legend of the seas ❤
They're not the same. Only if I didn't know them by their former selves.

Loved this

Been on Discovery2 loved it.❤
We've sailed on the other Wndstar ships post refits, honestly we love them, smaller and far better service than the mega ships.
I like the look of Discovery 2. The name is lame she should be Marella Legend!
And next year Queen Elizabeth gets a refit
You forgot to mention Queen Elizabeth. She’s only 4 years younger than Noordam.
She’s being refurbished in Feb and I did a whole separate video on her which is here: th-cam.com/video/ExZjjcCBu04/w-d-xo.html
Celebrity Solstice is showing her age. Time for an upgrade
Tge AIDAaura was build in 2003 not in 2013... 😉
Omg did I say 2013…. Talk about an accidental error! Eeek! Thank you!
@ChrisFrameOfficial you did 😂...
@@mathiaskokartis2308 🤦♂
I just with Royal would renovate their cabins ☹️
Pullantur used to be the best. Tried yankee cruise lines - RC, Celebrity, etc, all rip off merchants, will never use these companies again.
Legend of the Seas and Vision of the Seas are my favorite ships and have sailed on them many times.
I definitely prefer new ships, or extensively refurbished to bring more modern features.
