@aStranger_ no its not lol the rifle is pre upgraded for new users or for a person who doesn't want to tech a rifle I own a ssg10 and I can with confidence say I will be using the rifle forever. People hate them for some reason. I imagine that nobody likes the content or something but I don't blame them I'm not big on there content either but I can say that they are good people helping the airsoft community ESPECIALLY THE NOOBIES that are in need of a reliable rifle

Honestly, the G&G ARP9 1.0-2.0 and 3.0 are good out of the box. If you're really looking for perfomance and money isnt an issue, I'd go pay a tech company such as umbrella armory or you could shim and dsg your gearbox yourself. @@Memnon-ro4cl

A longer metal handguard, more space for a battery due to the improved design of the pdw stock, a 170rnd mid-cap (if you're unlucky its going to be a 300rnd hi-cap) and a "quick change" spring guide (1.0 doens't have one). Hop-up unit and bucking are good, barrel not so much. Its a alu (trash imo) 168mm 6.08. Gearbox shell is one of the nicer stock ones. Internals are decent. Gears, bushings, cylinder and tappet plate w/ tappetspring are nice. The mosfet/etu (with cut-off lever) and pistonhead are decent. The 1 o-ring cylinderhead, the fully plastic piston with release tooth being metal and the no o-ring nozzle not so much. And the motor is region/fps dependant. For the lower fps (±330 fps) you get a 18k 27tpa with pretty bad magnets(G&G Original 18K), everything above 330 fps you'll get a 25k 17tpa with good magnets (G&G Ifrit). Overall its a good stock gun, but its on the more expensive side for what you get. Good relatively cheap improvements what you can do are getting a better quality barrel and a perun etu++. (The SSR9 is imo a better pick because of the things you get for the price. A pretty well build etu/mosfet (so no cut-off lever), an almost true quick change spring guide, long decent quality inner barrel w/ good bucking a good hop-up unit and enough room for a 11.1v stick battery. 250 quid for a plastic mid quality arp... you can get a classic army x9 for what 240 quid depending on variant. Novritsch stuff is marketed as high end but as people are quickly finding out is overpriced mid quality nonsense aka (and its a theory not fact) factory second rebrands.
Basicly that is a CA nemesis x9... but there's no info what the inside of the gb looks like... CA is a piece of crap (i owe one and im using it daily)... the gb body is classic armys abomination, as well with the etu so theres no chance on just dropin in some titan or other classic v2 units, so despite the metal body and a bigger battery compartment i would rather go gng arp9 now just to have a peace of mind with upgrades. cheers m8!
Mayo dude on YT showed how similar the SSR4 parts are to a Lancer Tactical Gen3. Doesn't bode well does it, but at least Novritsch have that 25yr parts warranty carrot to dangle in front of your wallet.
Had me all excited there.. Then found out UK can not have this version, only the stumpy cqb DSG model at 1J or 0.5J when it's released.. Bah no thanks. Really thought they'd have had a spring downgrade option for the UK for this model, but their website says they can't sell this model to UK residents. 😩😩😩
