Greg is such a great addition for season 2. Really well written tbh, can’t wait to see how his character arc progresses. Love that the oppressive militaristic farmers make a return as the main antagonist this season.
Yeah especially with the problems leading up to the actual filming I was scared that the final product would feel rushed. So far this seems like a promising first episode though!

As someone from Wales - Farmers are the bane of my existence when you just want to go for a scenic walk. Walk down a random country path and a farmer will emerge out of the treeline like Homer Simpson out of a hedge. You have to look at it with the idea that it's our back garden. Whilst you in particular might be a decent individual undoubtedly they've had to deal with people making a mess or damaging property. We often have to clean up discarded picnics left on our farm by people. Tin cans, crisp packets etc.

Shout out Greg. I got diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 23 and after that happened I got in much better shape than ever. I run and workout often now when before I did minimal actual exercise. It’s almost like a blessing in disguise, it sounds really weird saying that because the medication here in the states is an arm and a leg per month which is terrible but It gave me an insane amount of motivation to get really active
So good you’ve got someone with you this time round. Not only does it add to the entertainment but it gives you the desire to keep going when someone is going through the same thing
I've been waiting for so long! TH-cam has changed for me drastically since your first mission - now all my suggestions are a result of my desperate searches trying to fill the void you left when the series was over.
I only discovered this channel a couple months ago, and all I thought it was about was Geo guesser - boy was a wrong. When this popped up on my feed this morning, I thought it looked vaguely interesting and I had nothing better to do, so I delved deeper into this channel, and started bingeing both the first attempt, and the How not to travel across Europe. Most definitely worth staying up until 2am for!
As a farmer, can i just say that i LOVE how well kept those fences are? New poles (mostly), taught wires and a topwire to keep animals from pushing the fence netting down.
And in that line of thought. If you plan to do more of these videos, please procure some equipment made to scale fences. Because you two trying to be gentle but stepping on the netting IS damaging the fences. And again, that is quite aggravating. Because you want to test yourselves not deviating from this line of yours. But you dont have a care for the work people put into keeping their farms.
As soon as I heard the first seconds of the theme, I knew I was in for a wild ride. But I hope you do Scotland at some point - it'd be gruelling but I reckon you could make it. Or England - over the Lakes and Pennines would be another rewarding route (and then the best county in England!)
I think the issue with England and Scotland that doesn't come up in mid Wales is the existence of dual carriageways and rail lines, both of which are pretty much Impossible to cross on foot without the police coming down on you.
Hopefully when all of this clears up Scotland and Luxembourg will be possible again, also I have only watched a small part of this so far but I know it's gonna be good.
The sequel I awaited without knowing it was happening. Forgot how much I loved the intro/outro music Also 1:39 you owe Network Rail two grand now Also for reference Wales has loads of RAF bases so there are/were a load of fighters and transports around

@@jxavier3876 lmao same mate
Tom, ever doing a how not to travel europe part 2? favourite channel on yt by a longshot
Right now, any travel is a how not to travel
Shout out Greg. I got diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 23 and after that happened I got in much better shape than ever. I run and workout often now when before I did minimal actual exercise. It’s almost like a blessing in disguise, it sounds really weird saying that because the medication here in the states is an arm and a leg per month which is terrible but It gave me an insane amount of motivation to get really active
That is great to hear, much respect and good luck :)
Comment for the TH-cam algorithm. Biggest comeback since Star Wars, and this will definitely be better than the first mission!
I actually did just that! ~ and now I come with a second comment :)
Challenge: walk in a straight line through Vatican City. Might take a few tries though
It actually might be impossible. I don't know if theres a street that goes straight through it
@@stefanjasovic2311 you have to do it assassin's creed style😏
@@Starlightbooper climb up the walls
@@stefanjasovic2311 you would need to bring a ladder
Stefan Jasovic Just become the pope
7:49 ive been watching youtube so much that i genuinely expected this to be a sponsorship break
Love this series Next you should do the mission across Russia from east to west
That would be a death wish lol
Just do it in the Kaliningrad Oblast. I mean it's still Russia and you can go from an east to a west border...
Yeah sure, if you want to kill the channel because had no videos for half a decade, and that is assuming Tom is able to survive the Siberian winter.
@@Mimi.1001 I'm not quite sure that's possible mate.
Not in a straight line, but could be still very fun.
I don't get why anyone would dislike this!!
(apart from maybe the farmers he annoyed)
I'm a farmer and I disliked it
@@B3Band Congrats?
So good you’ve got someone with you this time round. Not only does it add to the entertainment but it gives you the desire to keep going when someone is going through the same thing
These, THESE, are the type of videos TH-cam was truly created for all those years ago.
I've been waiting for so long!
TH-cam has changed for me drastically since your first mission - now all my suggestions are a result of my desperate searches trying to fill the void you left when the series was over.
Vagrant Holiday
this has brave dave's big fat freight hop energy, i really needed that in my life
I only discovered this channel a couple months ago, and all I thought it was about was Geo guesser - boy was a wrong. When this popped up on my feed this morning, I thought it looked vaguely interesting and I had nothing better to do, so I delved deeper into this channel, and started bingeing both the first attempt, and the How not to travel across Europe. Most definitely worth staying up until 2am for!
Wow, that dog was so chill! just like "Hey guys, how's it going?" Like the dog knew you lol. So cute!
This is better than any tv show
That’s the truth
That is possibly the most intriguing pronunciation of Oregon I’ve ever heard
For god's sake I hope you've brought gloves
Edit: 16:45 Yes Tom, yes I am
You guys walked passed both the area I live in and a mountain bike route that I take. Good stuff.
An Englishman and a Welshman walk into a bar. Check the GPS. Carry on walking.
This content gives me a sense of satisfaction and happiness that I can't explain
Me: "Oh hey, I wonder what GeoWizard is up to?"
GeoWizard: This Video
Me: "HAHA YEAH THATS THE STUFF"
The return of Welsh Greg, brilliant!
And well done Welsh Greg for not leaving anything behind! ...yet
Found you Saturday night and nearly ploughed through all your back catalogue. Great content and really makes me wanna get out there and do the same
19:23 Tom really went "I feel a disturbance in the force"
As soon as I heard the first seconds of the theme, I knew I was in for a wild ride.
But I hope you do Scotland at some point - it'd be gruelling but I reckon you could make it. Or England - over the Lakes and Pennines would be another rewarding route (and then the best county in England!)
I think the issue with England and Scotland that doesn't come up in mid Wales is the existence of dual carriageways and rail lines, both of which are pretty much Impossible to cross on foot without the police coming down on you.
Scotland would be good. Lakes and Pennines then down to Hampshire? Not sure, but a good shout.
3 episodes in and TH-cam didn't show anything in subscription feed. Well.. time to catch up with this content.
Hopefully when all of this clears up Scotland and Luxembourg will be possible again, also I have only watched a small part of this so far but I know it's gonna be good.
One of the best story tellers on TH-cam, and most crazy :D
This is the best TH-cam series of all time if I could choose between a new content cop or another one of these I would choose this
20:48 *Running away from dangerous Dogs*
21:05 *Petting the cutest doggo ever*
The sequel I awaited without knowing it was happening.
Forgot how much I loved the intro/outro music
Also 1:39 you owe Network Rail two grand now
Also for reference Wales has loads of RAF bases so there are/were a load of fighters and transports around
That's true and they might go after him for it using his own video as evidence
This series was my little slice of peace last summer and now its back !!! So happy
when i hear that soundtrack and your narration i just feel like im 10 years old, its a rainy grey morning and im watching my favorite series over a bowl of cereals because i told mum im sick and cant go to school. the definition of coziness.
