Just love how casual these boys are, no need for excitement, just do the work and reap the rewards, never thought I could get such enjoyment & entertainment watching someone diggin a bloody hole..! - Well done boys, great stuff.
Great vid Mate. I am looking to buy my first metal detector that I want to use for gold prospecting and treasure hunting. I have the opportunity to buy an X-Terra 705 for $169 or a Vanquish 440 for $349 here locally in Rockhampton Queensland. What are your thoughts on that for a first detector? Regards, Jas.
You boys either got access to private ground or your fence jumpers, there is no way on Gods green earth you would hit a patch like that in Hammered GT ground, NO WAY.
@@goldquest1368 Half of the nuggs you pulled out in this vid were less then 10 in deep, a flippin gold monster would have screamed on those, if it is crown land and flogged there must of been some pretty hopeless operators before you then?
I found a pretty good patch in the whipstick a few months back, pulled over 70 grams from a small area, still plenty out there, just gotta work harder for it
I am not complaining, but what I see here is the end of the story ie, Harry Potter beats Voldemort. It would be great to get a prologue, ie how to find these areas on a map or on old miners sites etc, the story, ie what stuff to take on the hunt, how to use them and the search for the gold, ie indicators, the end of the story, was there gold? How much? BTW congrats on the huge nuggets and thanks for sharing the videos with us.
Well done boys! Just a couple of comments, it would be nice to hear what you are saying about each dig and it would also be good to hear the sounds from your detector. A summary of your finds in the video and in the description would also improve the viewing experience.
They can’t do that....have you thought about why they are digging at night? It is not because nuggets come up to the surface at night. Better ask them if that is their lease they are digging on....
@@hahahaha-qu6uv thanks brother. I'm in the state of Arizona. It too has various sizes of nugget. Unfortunately, most of the ground has been either taken up by claims or restricted to off roading. But, it's still worth the effort and the chase. Thank you for sharing and getting back to me. Daniel.
As a English detector user of 35 years I'd rather dig for nuggets than Roman or medieval coins. But being English I'd only get lost in the bush. Typical news story....
beautiful fake vid :) Always clean ground where u dig, gold pretty clean , out of the dirt, 1 finger swipe and almost fully cleaned.i give a B for the effort
@@goldquest1368 Good stuff fellas! Q & A time lol.. Do you think setting the Main tune at 0 or anywhere to 50 would work well or just do an Auto tune ?
@@volcanic5187 The lower frequencies are what I aim for but the biggest thing is stability in your threshold some days you can’t run that low so just pick the quietest one be it high or low and the auto tune is good for a quick tune but I find that quite often it doesn’t pick the most stable frequency so manual is the go just is a bit of stuffing around especially when your keen to get into it 👍🏼
I'm lost I've been reading books and internet forums on how to read the land for signs of gold like quarts and other minerals....but I'm gobsmacked as how that land your picking at hasnt got any quartz or minerials at all....have u got any tips on how to read the land for signs of gold or do u just pick a random spot and try your luck?
Wow. Was nice of nature to clear all the foliage from that spot so you'd know where to dig.
Just love how casual these boys are, no need for excitement, just do the work and reap the rewards, never thought I could get such enjoyment & entertainment watching someone diggin a bloody hole..! - Well done boys, great stuff.
That's because it's fake, numb nuts. Notice how the spot he "found" the gold was already cleared away before he started digging.
Real prospecting without the drama and bs. Wicked nuggets
Nice patch you got there! Smooth operators indeed. Never feel that disclosing some precise gps coordinates would go un appreciated lads 😇🤣
Good to see some local stuff being found! Plenty more out there
YA NEVER SEE THEIR FACES...ARE THEY BLOODY CLAIM JUMPERS ???
I was thinking the same , awful quiet an working in the dark an whispering….seems a little on the odd side.
Yeah the thieving dogs
Some gorgeous nuggets well done guys!!
Well done , just what we would all like to find, it must be hard work in the dark.
Beautiful Vic Gold!!! also, I love your pick Mate!!! ~ perfect for diggin in clay !!! That whole patch a Dozer might be the way to go.
Only one problem with a Dozer. You are no longer a prospector, but a miner and different more stringent rules apply
@@markfryer9880 Very Good Point !
Got to wonder why they're digging in dark and whispering!
Private property me thinks!
More like moonlighting on Private Property ya grubs???
Iz thinking the same thing sneaking around digging at night talking quietly. The dogs
Well with a pick like that you dont need backoe
"You should find it hanging off the pick anyway" Hahaha laughed so hard good works guys
Well done on the gold would love to try this
Well thats a unique shovel pick
couple of ATM strippers pulling out the 70K cassette after dropping in thru the roof at 3am lol
Dudes they're some deep holes. Nice gold
Looks like a great pick you've got. Is it home made?
Yeah homemade Stuart

You sure you're in Victoria I reckon you are on another planet.I couldn't find a speck in the last 6 years getting a bit jealous😁😂🤣.
WOW" WAY 2 GO! Cheers" from Idaho, USA....HAPPY HOLIDAY'S

Yes way
If you look closely you will notice a lot of over burden ,this is deep wash layer country.

In the dark? Are you legal?
and quiet! I was thinking same thing.
Thinking the same thing
In the dark, finding ounces ($10k+) but talking so softly (with not much excitment) as to not be heard. Ballsy!
Moonlighting grubs
Perfectly legal to detect in the dark
For God's sake...teach that bloke how to swing a pick....great vid btw...thanks for sharing
very very nice
Obviously detecting on private land without permission. Oh well good luck to them!
don't tell anyone about the area were ya found the gold .
Gold thieves...
Sweet. I want to go 👍
More like poachers
Finding detectors online for about $1000AUD. Seems cheaper than i thought. Whats the price range for a DECENT detector?
Thanks for your video.
$5000 for a GPX5000 and another $560 for a 15" Evo, and then you have a killer combo

Holy shit
What is ur ditector that u're using
Imagine not being excited to find gold like these 2... how boring.
how excited would you be if you put a nugget in the ground just to dig it up again for the camera?
What settings do you run.....have same coil, just trying to nut it out......also still a newb.....
Pretty much factory settings mate in enhance, with target vol up abit 👍🏼
