Me and my husband prospected for 2 years, living in a tent and moving around a lot in Northern California and Southern Oregon, in the US. You are in some beautiful country! It has been 30 years, and brought back some great memories. We had a 3" dredge, and a sluice box. It was a hard job, but worth the effort. Best of luck!

Levi, When I lived in Norway as a little girl, I was told if you are going to sit down in the forest always look for where the fens grow. Because the snakes don't like the smell of it for some reason. It ready works. I told a friend of mine who lives in Florida and had problems with snakes around his house that keep surprising him. He did plant some ferns and did not have any more problems.

that was awesome..i have been a metal detectorist for easy 40+ years, and very good at it..mainly park treasure, sadly theres not much going on now as covid stopped tourists and gold coins are getting less and less, they are a good justification but its treasure i want..i love watching you in the river,i have an underwater detector but in the sea its too difficult and to get deep enough you really need tanks and a buddy..what you are doing is just inspiring..i may try this if age doesnt catch up with me,im almost 70 now..cheers and thanks for the awesome show..i will be following you..

I just bought all new gear for backpacking in the wilderness, a wetsuit, mask, snorkel etc. because I want to do exactly what you just did in this video, though the chance of finding virgin ground like that here is pretty low.

Two months on: How's your journey into prospecting so far? What area of the world are you in? If near Montana, U.S., hmu.

I believe that he is placing the gold there then “finding it” again on video

@@devinb5937 you have to be kidding. Let alone the stupidity of tipping gold you already have into the river only to ‘ find’ it again, you would unlikely find half of it. I have worked those rivers, and when you find a good spot, it is amazing.

@@devinb5937 Yes it would be possible to place the gold and find it again but I have first hand experience and he's NOT doing that !
