Me and my husband prospected for 2 years, living in a tent and moving around a lot in Northern California and Southern Oregon, in the US. You are in some beautiful country! It has been 30 years, and brought back some great memories. We had a 3" dredge, and a sluice box. It was a hard job, but worth the effort. Best of luck!

Levi, When I lived in Norway as a little girl, I was told if you are going to sit down in the forest always look for where the fens grow. Because the snakes don't like the smell of it for some reason. It ready works. I told a friend of mine who lives in Florida and had problems with snakes around his house that keep surprising him. He did plant some ferns and did not have any more problems.

Awesome stuff mate, reminds me of being a kid at the local golf course hunting for balls in the bush and the creeks to sell back to the Pro Shop. Always took em home, checked em out, washed em and then sold em back to the Pro Shop. Urban prospecting in Sydney in the 70s.
The calm and serenity of exploring creeks and climbing through bush and finding a natural clearing is what I'm picking up from your videos.
    Cheers to Tranquillity.

mate Levi is in the wilds of Tasmania, deep in some never before seen forest in what we can call the last wild frontier left on this Earth. You going through bins or picking up bottles or whatever in paramatta in the 70s is some ways down

He's a little gold in the river. There is a lot more on the ground you're sleeping on. You could be sleeping on the motherlode.. As a little boy I walked 5 to 6 m from the river. Dug into the bank. Full the pan right up walked back to the river.. The rest is history.. It was like the brightest sun rising from behind the darkest cloud.. In my hands.. It was the greatest experience as a 12 year old... Sign of the feeling. Good luck all the best.. 💥💥💥
