Paladin has been my main healer for a long time so it’s always my favorite but priest is second place. Then resto shaman at third. Then the other 3 are all kind of equal in terms of fun.
Thank you! Some of the cooldowns I just have memorized. Bigdebuffs and Omnibar also really help for tracking enemy cds. They can be customized for whichever cds you want to track.
Tried rsham a few games, hunters and ferals everywhere. Feels like you can't sometimes even outheal the bursts, burning big cds really fast. In the other hand, many 2v2 healer games goes to deep dampening and you slowly trade cooldowns and nothing much is happening. Trying to figure out if I should play an off meta spec with my friend just to swim in the other direction.
I’m trying to learn hpal, and I’m struggling. Other healers have some spammable dmg button, that they can press if there is nothing to heal. What do I do as an hpal offensively? Do I ever press crusader strike? Sorry for stupid question
Crusader strike and judgement are your main offensive abilities. Then when you have wings rolling you can use hammer of wrath (also can use without wings if the enemy is low heath)
What do you think about melee holydin in 2s with a warrior? Every minute I have avenging crusader where I can do some damage that heals at the same time. Is it viable or should I just play ranged instead? I’m unsure what’s the best 😅
Both are viable! I think ranged is probably a little better, but I’ve seen some high ranked holy paladins running melee wings. With a warrior I would focus on coordinating his stormbolt with your HoJ. So whenever you hoj someone he stormbolts the other target.
@@Shukumei_WOW Ok. Sounds good, just unsure since it doesn’t have Tyrs and some other abilities that seems very strong. It’s fun tho so I’ll stick to it. Thanks
Vers is better than mastery I’m just meaning the main secondary since most pvp pieces come with vers. We also can’t hit the DR on vers this season because secondaries are low.
@@Shukumei_WOW Thank for your reply. I actually have all my gems like 147 vers 49 mastery. Do you think that i should change them to 147 mastery 49 vers ?
I’ve done a few battleground blitz this week and have had success. I ran the arena build that I’ve been running and put on beacon on me and the other on plum. Also Lay on Hands is a much better cd in BGs so I swapped a couple talents to pick up the node that reduces it’s cd. Now keep in mind that all of this is anecdotal and it takes 25 placement games until I’ll see a real MMR for further testing.
@@Shukumei_WOW Thanks. Running Mistweaver currently, its great for BGs , but can be a struggle in areana at times. Looking for another healer to play along with MW.
@austinprice1029 yeah from what I hear MW is really good in BGs at the moment. Paladin seems to be better in arenas though. I’ve heard disc is fun in BGs but that’s another one that I haven’t tested yet.
I'm a 2800 rbg healer, I've been 2800+ on mw, disc priest, and hpriest. I leveled an hpal a few days ago, it feels fine, but it's definitely harder, and I wouldn't recommend it unless you've a ton of experience healing on other classes. You generally have to play in melee range, which makes you susceptible to swaps, and you don't have a port like MW, or reliable personal cds like a priest. You will be in a comprised position to do literally anything in an rbg on hpal. Disc is my favorite healer rn, but the playstyle is annoying. Disc management is better than any other class in an rbg rn if played correctly with shield discipline. Hpal's output is pretty similar to everything else, but mana management is absolutely horrendous if you try to play the talent that puts your beacon on multiple people for 8 seconds. Manually swapping them takes more globals but is insanely more mana efficient for not much drop in output, also will over heal less that way. It seemed like good tech until I actually started playing it and was going oom in 45 seconds of a team fight. 100k mana every 15 seconds, means you're using something like 10% of your mana per minute on this ability alone, while also trying to min max it's efficiency and pump heals for it's duration and using mana you'd otherwise not use to more efficiently heal individual targets. It takes some thinking out of your gameplay, but not worth the draw back. Play an arena build for this spec.
Thanks for another great vid Shuk. Appreciate it as always..
Appreciate the kind words as always!
Reeeally like this pally tww content -Big help! #paladin #tww
Keep em comin! Do you enjoy holy priest or pally more for pvp?

i love ur casting and i want to know. how u see/track the buff or cd on the platter? u can see bbuff or debuff in the feral or another enemy.

Hello, Can you explain why going on mastery and not versatility is better on pvp please ?

No I’m actually going to be doing the 147 vers 49 mastery as well. Vers not hitting the DR makes it very valuable especially if you go for 4set
@@Shukumei_WOW ok, Thanks :)
Can Hpal be viable in BGs? Or no, not at all. You have any recommended builds for BGs on Hpal?

Could you make a vid of your UI?
I can but most people seem to hate my UI 😂
Main three addons I use are GladiusEX, Bigdebuffs, and Omnibar
