Hey man, this is the guide I have been searching for, and it's nice to see how much effort you put into gearing multiple paladins, etc., to figure out what worked. Every guide I watch says to always use melee wings.
just got 1800 as lightsmith no precog 628ilvl because i saw the reddit post yesterday so thought to give it a try! already had rival with my main hpal with the meta build but lightsmith felt insanely fun!
Something worth mentioning is that classes like shaman/mage/ret and protective paladin can Give u massive value on temp. Most of all is evoker. They have a ability called time stop, which essentially cyclones any friendly target on a 45second cooldown. I don't have to explain why that's insane😊
Tried out lightsmith as melee always-in-the-middle-of-the-fight style healer and it still worked incredibly good but after ur video i relized how not optimal i was ty for sharing ur knowledge and PUT YOUR FAITH IN THE LIGHT P.S. Buff resto druid please
@@PattarPhD druid does tones of healing but it doesnt matter when u cant reduce incoming dmg :C P.S. Tried out "hiding behind the pillar" style and it works weird mostly because ur teammates dont know how lightsmith works :D they run towards me so i can heal them and so they make both of us vulnerable xD
Question for rotation: I always debate how to prioritize GCDs in AC. For example: when CA and Judgment is on CD, do you prioritize SotR to get CS up sooner and get Blessed Assurance, or use WoG to get Blessed Assurance and take that heading, instead?
Better to use WoG instead of SotR, unless everyone is full HP. I generally try to follow the PVE recommendations during AC windows: Judgment > CS (w/ Blessed Assurance) > Spend Holy Power > CS (no Blessed Assurance) > Holy Shock
@@ghostwolf1111111 yep it happens a lot, but it’s not as big of a deal as you think. It’s not bad if people use a defensive on top of sacred weapon because you’ll want them to be stable and high hp when it ends.
@@richardrosberg4347 holy shock represents a lot less of your healing breakdown compared to Herald. Being able to heal your ally regardless of range or LOS is why Lightsmith shines. You still get value out of Martyr outside of Scared Weapon windows.
@@aces8481 I like lightsmith when I know the enemy is gonna run down a single target, so I can sit behind a pillar and let Tempered in Battle do its thing. In most other situations, I think Herald is better.
i would think the first part of tempered in battle would synergize well with the hide and self heal strat. all your over healing on yourself while they're above 40% just transfers to them.

Great video! Thank you so much
Also, how did you set up your raid frames like that?

The huge issue with this and this playstyle in shuffle is people will overuse defensives as a result of playing los and letting them drop to 40%

arnt u losing tons of output from dropping below 70% and the martyr buff on holyshock stops working?

hey Pattar - how exactly do you proc armaments I keep hearing you say you want to proc sacred weapon
Armaments proc thru the Divine Inspiration talent. It can proc off any ability you press.
@ one more question Pattar 🙋🏻♂️ do you prefer lightsmith or herald for SS? 3s? In general
