It was the RS6 drivers fault. That is exactly how law and insurance will call it. The car backing up has inherent limited visibility, the RS6 had plenty of time and could clearly see the car backing out and just kept on going.
Its in the main part the same in the UK in that if an accident is avoidable then there is liability such as in this case. People to busy trying to be clever. Almost all of these accidents are avoidable by reverse parking which should be made obligatory. If you dont reverse park you should go and ask somebody to explain why it would be better

I get that there's a fisheye lense on. But there was like 3 seconds between when the silver estate started to back out and the point of contact. (Assuming the audio is synced properly.)
