I went to a jazz club with some friends one time and there was a small band on a stage in the corner just jazzing it up. The atmosphere was unreal, because it made everything feel so much alive than just playing music through speakers. And then someone got shot, but that's not important.

Borderlands 2, Battlefield 3 & 4, Halo in general, hotline miami, Mario games, the list goes on. There's a lot of really good games with phenomenal sound tracks. The difference is that wii sports gained more popularity than all of them lol

I'm a guitar teacher, and probably 10 years ago, one of my multi instrumentalist 10 year old students came in with a weird request: "do you play piano also?" Me "sure, a bit" Him "could you teach me the Wii Sports theme, I want to play it for my piano recital" Me 😁 "yeah dude, let's figure it out!" And he rocked it THAT WEEKEND it at the recital. Such a cool kid and cool song.

The metadata on the album credits "Ben Kidd" on drums - it's pretty safe to assume it's him, I think, because most of the other people on the album are the same people here.

That Trumpeter's got a phenomenal tone and the piano work was pretty juicy, same with the guitarist and the Bari (EDIT: It's a tenor and I'm blasphemous) sax. Loving the saxophone's tone as well. I'm just biased towards that and the trumpet ahaha. NO DRUM SOLO SECTION!? BLASPHEMY. Overall, a wonderful live performance! I wish I were there. =( I hope you played the Mii Channel and Wii Shop theme after.
