It’s damaging the plant and doesn’t allow the plant to get all the nutrients from the past leaves. It makes the plant smaller and lithops is naturally a slow growers to begin with. everything else it’s great, but you shouldn’t keep doing this to your plants if you want them to grow to their full potential.

Why do you do that? It seems harmful. Nature makes them that way. They are slow growers. Patience is the key.

It will, and pulling it apart early is pretty harmful to the plant.
Yikes…. You are NOT supposed to bust them open like that!! They feed off those leaves and will split and fall off on their own.
