Iam a qualified H&S Auditor, with 18 months experience, achieving 100% compliance ISO45001, applied for many jobs, getting no where with my applications even with NEBOSH qualifications. Many organisations are wanting 5yrs minimum nowadays....
Hello, do you think obtaining a bachelor's degree in health and safety would be a good move for someone who's fresh out of high school and thinking about getting into the industry of Health and Safety? How would graduates of such programmes stack up to persons of other H&S qualifications such as NEBOSH/ OSHA 510 certs and such? How would scope of the field look after completion of the degree? Like what specialties can I pursue afterwards?
I passed my NG2 but have my NG1 resit in February. I thank you so much for your videos! They are very very helpful. I would gladly buy you a coffee if you’re ever in the Liverpool area. Please keep it up!
I recently passed DNI unit of NEBOSH Diploma, but I didn't work in HSE, I worked as H2S Supervisor on the Rigs. Could you please help me to revamp my CV to get some HSE job. I was studying for NEBOSH Diploma online, and I am somewhat hesitant to start working in HSE.
Greetings, Adam. Thank you for your incredible videos; I've been a quiet follower. I passed my NGC exam last November thanks to your tutorials. Thank you. However, employment searching has been difficult. Could you kindly help me with a CV evaluation or suggest someone who can assist and train me for interviews? I eagerly await your responses. Appreciate you very much
@stockwellsafety thank for you the insightful information. Please I need your help in revamping my CV, I have MSc in Environmental Management but I would like to work as Health and Safety Officer, presently I work as Project Support in Housing.
@@StockwellSafety Your videos helped me a lot to to pass my my NEBOSH IGC. Now I am at Colchester Essex, stuggling to find a JOB. It seems very dificult
I’m wondering how long will it take for me to finish up NEBOSH IGC if i want to get a certificate from it some time in the near future?.. i have an engineer degree and had 2 undergrad subjects from it related to safety management.. so I think it would be worth a shot to try..
Hi Adam, I love your videos, I've watched alot of your videos when I was sitting my NEBOSH General certificate Exam. With your help I managed to pass both NG1 and NG2 with a Merit. I'm really struggling to find a H&S related job ever since as I have zero experience and honestly I've applied for many. Im abit scared to approach clients for work as I haven't set up a company and don't know what questions the clients will throw. I'm actually from a recruitment background so I'm generally a very confident person when it comes to talking to people but because of the lack of experience I'm not confident enough to approach clients. What should I do, can Adam or anyone please advise me?
Hi Sid. Have you tried putting your CV on CV-Library?. I did that just after my exam and recruiters do call me on a regular basis and I now have two interviews booked.
@@bobbymadan8142 I put my CV on Indeed and I have recruiters calling me for jobs in Wales and Scotland. I'll have to review my CV probably and see what happens. Good luck to you, I hope you find a suitable job. People don't realise NEBOSH is a hard exam to pass and after that we should find work within the related field.
@@StockwellSafety I’m relying on Leeds coming from Google (map/local searches). Looking at improving traffic to website. Also used cold email on the past. Some leads from it but not “easy”. No paid advertising yet. Thanks.

Just my personal opinion, but I think it would be a good idea to have some experience of the world of work before going into health and safety.

I could do this and feature it in a video (with your details kept private). I'd need your CV and a link to a job vacancy posting you're going for.
@@StockwellSafety thank you for your response. Kindly provide me an email address so I can forward my Cv to you.

Go for it! I'd say around 2 weeks is the absolute minimum, but that's really pushing it.
Everyone's different though and learn at different speeds.
Very Good advice
Excellent video. Can you give more details about professional indemnity insurance please? Which insurance companies would you recommend?

Leads from cold is hard. When I was consulting I tried paid search and it worked reasonably well.
Good video
Can you help me do a CV revamp please?
Possibly. Send us your CV and we'll take a look.
