The workbench has a procedural animator tool. I am sure some modders will figure it out sooner than later and we can all play tank on tank

Once Reforger is out of early release - there hopefully will be a major upgrade to workbench with an Eden like editor. That will immediately open up community content creation.
Great to see a lot of new Arma3 users just getting into the game - which is pretty amazing considering A3 is ~9 years old!

I have waited so long to see controlable AI in this game...
But the release of Medic, Driving AI and Helicopters is crazy! WOW! This game will soon be a really good RPG milsim

I'm looking forward to that power system, the ability to damage lighting via powerlines or transformers or just being able to use switches

I got it last week. As a 10+ year Arma player I am kind of happy with it. Obviously there is not a lot going on right now but the road map has quelled a lot of my fears. The core mechanics of the game and engine really make the future look bright. I love the simplicity of having no GPS etc.
It will only get better with time. Lots of people just waiting for content and network stability with Ground Support
Bipod leveling. Needs to be a feature in reforger so its in arma 4.
Bohemia, Please, add deformer-like tools to 3den editor for reforger or arma 4!
Also creating scenarios in co-op with a friend would be a really good idea.

At least there is a warship available in the mods
I've noticed that none of the vehicles are tracked, my guess is they simply don't want to do the extra work that is involved in making functional tracked vehicles and their damage and driving models.

I still wish we could have those 5 ton trucks with a trailer to haul around tanks/IFVS it's always felt out of place to have a vehicle with a 5th wheel and you can't use it

Content makes a game, this one was so scant at launch that the bugs only did it more of a disservice. hopefully with this roadmap and bugs being squashed maybe it can get back on its feet. though my number one thing that should be fixed after servers is the god awful inventory menu.

There is a boat on the workshop you can try out for now. Its actually pretty sweet
The ground support update seems to be incredible.I might stop playing games like men of war and instead switch to game master on Arma Reforger.Why?Because it will offer more and it will be better than the classics.
Question, I heard it’s coming to console, does that include ps5?
I believe that is the plan for arma 4. But I am unsure about reforger. We will see

Parts of Ground Support roled out with 0.9.6. I assume more will come with the next update this month or next

Personally can't wait for addition of helicopters, because with the basic rotary wing aircraft model the modders will be able to do a lot, won't be long till we see attack helicopters I believe

dont buy theres is too much content missing from it that arma 3 has . Not good at all . Even if they ironing out these things mentioned above , still a lot of things will be missing . Not worth buying it maybe for 10£ . Its a huuuuge scam if u ask me .
@@ventus80smusic What do you mean by scam? BI have been 100% clear on what this product is and people who can't read or pay attention still let themselves down.
@@CebCine its a 30£ TECH demo it lacks features that the original 2( sorrry 3 ) games had feels like we are going backwards . There SOME usable mods it has in the workshop ( and i dont care that "i can do my own mods " not everybody is a modder )and im about 80 percent sure , that it wont have much more mod as its all in all a sh*t game/demo and people starting to realise it is . Modders still making stuff for arma 3 almost daily . They took dayz made some improvements to the engine ( i doubt its built from ground up ) and made this . Now what they are doing is that they r waiting for modders to add content/expand it so the they gave the basics and thats it . Of course they are planning to implement some stuff in it ... cuz if they werent everybody would be angry af . This game is a huge dissappointment it was a huuuge mistake to bring consoles into this .
U can call it demo , test , whatever its just sounds like putting icing on a sh*t . ✌️
the best case scenario would be have this updates one month, couple of week away between them, otherwise this game will probably be a actual enjoyable game in 2024

I still feel this needed a lot more development before you could even call it early access.
This is just a test game for Arma 4.
Reforger is going to die in terms of updates etc when Arma 4 is out.

This roadmap just cements reforger as a massive disappointment in my eyes , its going to take until 1.0 to share saved scenarios, No heavy armor or m113 , no attack helos , no boats, no planes? When a game from 2001 has more content than your modern game in your main franchise you should probably go back to square one and start rethinking your release plan. All of this content should have been there day 1 , not dripfeed over the course of just under a year.
Im a real OFP/ARMA fan but i have to agree. Reforger is such a big dissapointment. I really believe ARMA4 Will be a proper game but I feel my money was not well spend on reforger...

@@Nillers we will change our mind when the 2D/3D mission editor is released. There is nothing ahead without the editor.

The games networking and multiplayer is terrible. You can't even host a simple game with 3 of your friends like in Arma 3!
I don't understand why they didn't just improve the Arma 3 graphics engine and the biomechanics, then just start working on dynamic campaigns like Enemy Engaged and Falcon 4 have. They're just going to dump Arma 3 eventually? Dumb. I'm running 210 mods at the moment. Not interested in Reforger.
How is your fps with 210 mods? Real virtuality is as old as Op Flashpoint. Patching it only could get them so far. A new engine seems like a better move.
@@CebCine I don't notice much difference, except a slight hit from some of the AI mods, as I don't use any heavy visual FX mods like Blastcore.
@@CebCine I have a good pf setup and if I had an engagement with 10+ AI my pc would stutter , now I can have engagements with max ai and nit have any issues that alone makes me love reforger
They have supported Arma 3 for almost a decade, that is an incredibly long time. They’re using reforger to develop and test the new engine to try make sure that Arma 4 is the best it can be at launch.
a huuuuge step backwards regarding everything in this game ! And these things wont save it at all . Lazy devs want to leave the hardest parts to modders ... 🤦 Arma 4 is cursed already .
The best thing for Arma Reforger is if it would eventually become Arma 4!
