This is what I call A SONG ! I can listen it thousand times, this song makes me dream on another world far far away from where I'm leaving.

Je prends de l'âge (il y'a 60 ans j'étais déjà là) et je suis toujours aussi ému par le talent de ce gars (même sans Pink Floyd). Merci. Noté au passage le talent de Snowy White à la guitare. Il a accompagné les Floyd dans pratiquement toutes leurs tournées tout en restant dans l'ombre.

I first time heard Pink Floyd album "Dark side moon" and since then forever liked this music but almost nothing about them not knew. But when I heard "Amused to death", Roger Waters revealed himself to me as the leader of Pink Floyd, a great musician, intellectual, poet and great man.

Although I understand your sentiments you can not say that Roger Waters is the leader of Pink Floyd, it's a mutual succes from Roger Waters AND David Gilmoure! They are/were the true leaders of The Floyd! After Roger went solo The Floyd kept making great music.. You can't skip Gilmoure, impossible!

Absolutely amazing talent and genius lyrically. I was raised by Pink Floyd and they have shaped my worldview for the reality that is and the hidden objects our brains don’t process well people take advantage of to gain for themselves where working together is so much healthier and productive.
Been a fan of Floyd for as long as can remember and have loved waters especially. When waters left I didn't like the first album much but loved Rogers solo stuff. Listening back I can appreciate some of post waters Floyd but only the live versions especially if you have a listen to pink Floyd the 1994 tour. The whole concert is fantastic and plays Rogers masterpieces brilliantly as well as well as the best of floyds later stuff. Gilmour plays with so much feel and passion it brings on an emotion that only him and Roger can do. I followed both of there solo careers, I was very impressed with Dave Gilmours About Face but that's all. Roger on the other hand has made every album stand out as a masterpiece. There is always at least one song on each album which brings an emotional tear and this is one of them.
For sure there is a lot power in his lyrics, and the singing style is unique Ilove his work
