The SYM-8 Agro Gamma Irradiation plant is meant for treating low-medium dose products such as fruits, vegetables, spices, cereals, foodgrains etc. The plant is a Category IV Irradiator with wet source storage, source overlap geometry and Shuffle-dwell operation.
The plant can treat upto 72,000 Metric tonnes of products annually.
