Most of these songs would've been a semi fodder nowdays. I mean, imagine comparing these songs / performances with some of the worst ones in the last year. Even Montenegrin Heaven sounds like... well, heaven, compared to many of these.
I still don't understand how Danmark won. The song was not so bad, but there were better. And those guys singing like during Brazilian depilation or at least balls hair removal.
